Historia
The discovery of a young woman’s body drifting down the Thames, her hair adorned with flowers and her legs wrapped in blue silk like a mermaid’s tail, presents Lord Jason Redmond and Inspector Daniel Haze with a puzzling new mystery. Who was she, why was she murdered, and what led the killer to leave her body displayed this way? Was it an act of love, meant to make the victim appear beautiful in death, or was there a more sinister reason?

I love all of Irina Shapiros books. The Redmond and Haze books are among my very favorite. I thought the new narrator did wonderfully. I know people are complaining but the previous narrator wanted to do other things, I think she chose an excellent narrator,

I really enjoy everything that Irina Shapiro has written. Her books tend to draw me in from the very start. This book was intensely interesting. I like the flow if the dual time line and getting bits and pieces of the story. The end was really wonderful and totally not what I was expecting.

Revisado: 01-08-21
I really love everything Irina Shapiro has written. Her books always keep me guessing until the end. She is one of the few authors for me that is an automatic buy. I think Wendy Wolfson's narration style matches wonderfully with Irina's writing style. Wendy Wolfson has narrated several of Irina's books and I have found them all to be wonderful. This is a winning combination that does not disappoint.

Revisado: 07-09-20
This is one of Irina Shapiro's earlier books. It is a delightful beginning to this series. I cant wait for the rest of the series to make it to audible.
I enjoy all of Irina Shapiro's books and liked this one as well. It is quite interesting to watch her writing grow and change over time. I also enjoyed the narrator, this is the first time I have listened to her and I found her voice pleasant and easy to listen to. I do wish she had a wider range in her voices. All in an it was very enjoyable. Irina Shapiro is one of a few authors that is an automatic buy for me when something new comes out.
