what frustrates me the most is the lack of description grandma is old and just called grandma you have no idea what she looks like. you have no idea with any of the main characters look like. you have no idea of the power of all of the enemy the character so you're listening to how close they are to the next level there's no scaling system for any of their powers all of it is just random. at this point I'm listening because I'm this far along in the series and I just want to finish it but other serious event much better

for obvious reasons the series is decent, similar to dungeon born but a lot more PG. shortly after first few chapters the dungeon stops upgrading himself and you never hear about it again. not real in depth leveling system for dungeon or it's creatures so it's hard to understand.

I had high hopes for this series. given that it is a cultivation series it skews toward Eastern religion, anyone who's aware of cultivation genre should be familiar. But I've never read a series where they actively belittled a major world religion. scene with Robert was hard to listen to and in my opinion for doesn't add any value to the series. there were multiple ways to handle his rebirth the way the author chose to go about it was in poor taste and disrespectfut.

I'm not sure why this book has so many high reviews. there is no character growth at all. you never know how old any one is but from the beginning they act like immature children so much that it's called out several times. they don't use all their powers during the final exam. and you don't learn about the world to be invested in it.

book 9 repetitive book 10 lack luster

I feel like the story has fallen short in book 9 author ran out of things to say and kept repeating same idea as much as 3 times in the same chapter, how many times are the characters going to know each other and the thoughts of civs so well that they snear and no need for dialogue. I also feel like the author realized they made too many cultivation levels without really explaining the strength of Mc home continent. if they are so weak compared to the center why are they still training. Mc doesn't explore his beast side at all or the powers that come with it. if azure dragon was the best bloodline what is the point of the rest does it literally just come down to chi type...

you really don't care to find your parents at all... I'm still mad he forgot his entire conversation with lan and spent two books finding the same answers over again. idk re read entire series to be up to date and honestly started to lose interest at the academy

I was excited because i love lit RPG and card games. unfortunately this first book has no depth. MC is repetitive and is not mature. narrator has horrible voices for the woman cast.

Great series but...

I reached out to the author and was informed that the series has been discontinued! I would advise not getting vested in the story since you won't know how it ends. Personally my favorite work so far!
