Historia
After facing war, death, unruly gods, and unmitigated evil, Minalan the Spellmonger is forced to return to Farise, the site of his earliest battles, with the simple assignment to conquer the subtropical city-state and expel the pirates that plague the kingdom’s shipping. Tired of warfare, Minalan embarks on a clandestine campaign to do so, assuming an alias and setting up shop in Farise as a mere Practical Adept as cover for his operation. Recruiting a cadre of talented agents to assist, he reluctantly begins the task of infiltrating and observing Farisian society.

Again, the characters are always clever and fun from the new to the old standards. The storyline is advancing, our proper pace to keep the interest in excitement while constantly having new and diverse themes.

Fantastic! So very worth the extended wait
Revisado: 02-18-23
Certainly, I thought the entire trilogy was fantastic. Every book had me more entrenched into caring about the characters and the storyline. This, the final book of the trilogy, did not release an audiobook for three long years. I heard all my friends rave about how good it was, and with this tease, I waited. It was worth the wait. Thank you Melissa for your incredible imagination, your intriguing storyline with more than my anticipated twists and turns . Most of all thank you for the enjoyment in the read. Great work, and I hope many others get to appreciate your gifts. I look forward to the next trilogy!

The culmination of an excellent journey, and fantastic fashion
Revisado: 11-22-22
The journey from book one to book for, was captivating. Most importantly, it improved every step of the way, and succeeded in an ending. It was worthy of a fun, intense and rewarding experience.

Historia
When Minalan the Spellmonger was exiled from his beloved mageland of Sevendor by Prince Tavard, his friend Duke Anguin made him Count Palatine of the Magelaw, a vast realm in the Alshari Wilderlands that Minalan is all too familiar with. After the goblin invasion, the province is devastated, ruined, and peopled almost only by freed slaves. But Minalan has brought his recovering wife and family into exile with him, and he views their impoverished fief as an opportunity to build a new City of Magi in the wilderness.

Historia
Is the Grand Canyon big enough to handle all of your worries? I wanted to know that answer, so I walked to the bottom to find out. For years, nature has taught us so many important lessons. The most important may be that we're a part of nature itself. Hiking has a way of bringing us closer to nature. Healing us. Reminding us of what's important and where our priorities are and should be. It makes us feel small, yet a bigger part of the universe around us.

Matt and the canyon are both excellent teachers
Revisado: 05-29-20
Matt takes a journey into the canyon, several actually, and we get to join him for the literal and metaphorical experience. There’s a powerful purpose for many and trying to cast troubles away and for some the Grand Canyon has presented an ideal location to attempt this approach. The true epiphany and how we should cast our troubles “away “is something far more difficult and far simpler at the same time. Like any great journey, we not only reach the Destiination but discover some great gems along the path. An excellent read and experience.

A transformative journey with a friend, philosopher and poet!
Revisado: 05-17-20
What value would you place on a journey which changes you for the better? Matt’s journey not only changes him but because of his philosophers mindset, Poetic vision and deep desire to connect in friendship with the world and all of us who share it; this journey can become transformative for all of us. Josh delivers the perfect tone to bring out mats voice in this audiobook and the lessons learned our ones I will seek out several times in future readings. Each of us is ultimately responsible for what we take away from life and from such an opportunity as buying and reading this book. I am grateful I made the choice.

The only negative is the wait for the third book
Revisado: 06-29-15
A masterful sequel to the name of the wind, this book delivers everything promised in the first and continues an incredible hunger for the rest of the tail.
The long wait during his journey had me eager to rejoin old companions left at the University. I have a larger hunger to know where those companions have gone when we finally reach the present day for the final time. It is a wonderful thing to care about all the characters so very deeply not just the lead. Well done and thank you for world and characters worth knowing
