Wow, did I seriously pay for that?

This guy must be a great salesman. I just paid, with both my money and my time, for a book that was nothing more than elaborate commercial for the author’s paid marketing program. Half of the book was testimonials from the author’s clients. There were some substantive nuggets but not enough. I’m fine listening to a plug for another product, but this book goes way beyond that. The testimonials were like advertisements as well. Not only did they mention the name of the reviewer, but also really specific details about the reviewer’s law firm, practice areas and titles. That was really weird. I don’t recommend this book. I will also point out that the author offers links to get resource materials, but those links take you to his website where you have to listen to the author encourage you to sign up for a “discovery call” about his marketing system. I listened to the whole video and provided my contact information but the resources were never emailed to me. That’s not cool at all.
