honest history and nothing else
Revisado: 01-25-24
The details, accuracy, and use of personal corespondence from such historic figures, like President Lincoln, General Grant, General Lee, or a common enlisted soldiers journal entries, or articles from news paper published during the war provides alot of the context required to understand everything that was occurring leading up to and through out the American Civil War. When nuanced understanding is required more than ever in today's political, social, and educational environment a 'Glorious Cause' delivers. Do not rush the book take you time, and book mark all the facts that you will learn while listening. The truth sometimes is crazier then fiction.
