Revisado: 11-06-13
Would you consider the audio edition of The Last Minute to be better than the print version?
Have not read the print. The job I have and the life I lead, I need someone to read to me while I get stuff done. I love love having some one reading to me.
What other book might you compare The Last Minute to and why?
Can not think of any. I don't compare books. I'm such an addict for books. I've listened to other Jeff Abbott books and I love Kevin T's narration. They had me at "this is audible" I love these guys. Jeff gives me what I need in a thriller.
Which scene was your favorite?
I love Mina, she is a gritty lady, just love her. Any scene she's in.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes I did,. The love of family. Sister for sister then father for son. Friend for friend.
Any additional comments?
I will listen to this one a couple more times. There are suddle remarks made that could be missed.

Historia
Hilarious and heartfelt observations on aging from one of America's favorite comedians, now that he's 65, and a look back at a remarkable career. Billy Crystal is 65, and he's not happy about it. With his trademark wit and heart, he outlines the absurdities and challenges that come with growing old, from insomnia to memory loss to leaving dinners with half your meal on your shirt. In humorous chapters like "Buying the Plot" and "Nodding Off," Crystal not only catalogues his physical gripes, but offers a road map to his 77 million fellow baby boomers who are arriving at this milestone age with him.

Vacation Gone Bad
Revisado: 10-09-13
Would you listen to The Passage again? Why?
I Have and will again. The first time was in prep for the 2nd book. that was about to e released. This book had been on my wishlist and had gotten overlooked by me. so many books, so little time. Then I reviewed the other book by mistake first, so confused after doing a marathon listening session,
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Oh yes it did. as "usual" the goverment "men" can monkey it up. Women "nature" will correct it or turn it around. Don't mess with Nature.
Which scene was your favorite?
The Zoo scene, prison escape, hiding in the wilderness.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Sister's understanding of her purpose. Hospital scene
Any additional comments?
This book is one of the most interesting and scary books that I have ever read. The author has taken all of the potential good, helpful lifesaving research and placed it in the hands of a secret goverment agency. He could have made it "cheesy" and Zombiefied the characters. I'm looking forward to the 3rd book. Sorry about switching up the reviews. "MY BAD." I hate that phrase. :-/

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

could not get into it
Revisado: 10-09-13
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I'm not sure what was wrong with me at the time I bought this book. I have listened to many of Sanderson's book but could not get into this one. bought others since this one and have attempted to re-start on this one. will try again later
What was most disappointing about Brandon Sanderson’s story?
don't know, I think that I have listen to so many books in this genre, it hit me at a time that i could not get into the pace or plot.
What didn’t you like about Kate Reading and Michael Kramer ’s performance?
I love Kate and Michael enjoy them together and separate. have much love for their talent.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Yes, it does, maybe i have been overload on this genre. and will come back to this one later on. I Love sagas and long books are what i look forward to hearing.
Any additional comments?
I know this will sound like a lot of crap, but it wasn't the story or narrators, was me.

She's done it again!
Revisado: 10-09-13
Would you listen to Possession again? Why?
Yes, Even with the heros being bigger than "real life" and some plot lines evident early in the book, J R Ward is always a good and interesting read. I find something that I missed earlier. Jim and the boys rock, Devina is twisted just enough, where else can you find a demon with OCD?
What other book might you compare Possession to and why?
The BDB series, interesting plot twists
What does Eric Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Besides being sexy cool, there is no way I could hold my interest. his voice is what is needed.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Cissy returning home for the visit
Any additional comments?
I look forward for JR Wards books. I frequently repeat listening or read the books in Bed.

Roll baby Roll
Revisado: 05-04-12
What made the experience of listening to That's How I Roll the most enjoyable?
Plot and Phil Gigante's narration
What was one of the most memorable moments of That's How I Roll?
Esau's "playing" the FBI and the other law enforcement. Just because he is in a wheel chair, does not make him stupid.
What about Phil Gigante’s performance did you like?
Phil has such a wide range, he was and is "spot on" with his trashy side.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
You will look at the "wheel-chair" bound in a different way.
