Jen Sincero’s books keep me motivated and reframe negative beliefs for me into positive ones. Her humor keeps me engaged and I listen to these books over and over again.

Historia
Have you ever wondered "Why did I do that?" or "Why can't I just control my behavior?" Others may judge our reactions and think, "What's wrong with that person?" When questioning our emotions, it's easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It's time we started asking a different question. Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Great book
Revisado: 12-30-22
This book is a validation, explanation, and inspiration to anyone living with trauma. We all have trauma to a degree, but for those of us who have lived with it in darkness, this book offers a great deal of insight and hope towards healing. As a person who experienced trauma starting in early childhood, and now a therapist dedicated to healing for myself and my clients, I highly recommend this book.

Historia
A powerful and important new work that will help listeners develop their spiritual instincts and move from a life of fear to one of freedom. In seeking truth, success, and ultimately a happy life, there is no escaping fear; even while we may not always perceive it, fear is ever present. But what is it? What are we afraid of-really-and what can we do about it? These are the questions that Jeff Golliher answers in Moving Through Fear, a sensitive, personal, and wholly inspiring work of guidance.

Good Info, terrible narration

Although I really wanted to get through this book for the content, the person narrating became so annoying that I couldn’t listen anymore. He has the same, repetitive downturn to each sentence, and it seriously started to drive me crazy. I think reading it myself is going to be my only option because I can’t listen to it any longer.
