Enjoyed the Story; Needs A Different Narrator
Revisado: 10-16-23
I really enjoyed the Story, especially between “Rex Harrison” and Albert his “Human”, and all of the side Characters!!! The only problem I had with the Audio Book, was the Narrator and how it was recorded. Most of the time (but not all), the narrator speaks in three or four words, break, then three or four word, then break…over and over again; sometimes during words; it makes one try and mimic his breathing patterns!! Exhausting!! But, this could’ve been fixed in post production. The narrator’s voice is great and his depiction of character voices seems spot on, the pattern is off putting. Thanks!!!

Jack Reacher reunites with the survivors of his old Army investigative team, scrambling to raise the living, bury the dead, and connect the dots in a mystery that is growing darker by the day. In a world of bad luck and trouble, when someone targets Jack Reacher and his team, they'd better be ready for what comes right back at them.

Lee child needs an editor
Revisado: 08-21-23
I love the “Jack Reacher” series, but Lee Child desperately needs an editor. He puts so much crap in there that does not need to be there, and he overindulges us with words at times!!
I can’t wait for season two of “Reacher” to come out, on Amazon Prime Video; they are using this story, as the second season storyline. The screenplay adapters will know what to edit out and give us a good season!

Historia
On July 27, 1996, a hapless former cop turned hypervigilant security guard named Richard Jewell spotted a suspicious bag in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, the town square of the 1996 Summer Games. Inside was a bomb, the largest of its kind in FBI and ATF history. Minutes later, the bomb remotely detonated by the attacker amid a crowd of 50,000 people. But thanks to Jewell, it only killed two and wounded 111, not the hundreds who authorities estimated could have otherwise died. With the eyes of the world on Atlanta, the games continued.

Well Told…Very Informative
Revisado: 06-10-23
I enjoyed the Book!! It goes into a lot of detail on everyone involved. Some of the people, even though they served our country, were down right scumbags!! And our media, freedom of the press, need to learn what that means, and take it seriously!!! But they never will…it’s all about making money and being the first to report…even if they’re 100% wrong.

Historia
Candy Montgomery and Betty Gore had a lot in common: They sang together in the Methodist church choir, their daughters were best friends, and their husbands had good jobs working for technology companies in the North Dallas suburbs known as Silicon Prairie. But beneath the placid surface of their seemingly perfect lives, both women simmered with unspoken frustrations and unanswered desires. On a hot summer day in 1980, the secret passions and jealousies that linked Candy and Betty exploded into murderous rage.

Interesting Story, Told Well
Revisado: 05-16-23
Very interesting true story told well by the author. The narrator (Charles Constant) does a very good job and relates the story at a pleasant pace. It makes one, want to look up the actual case, and see the original actors in this situation.

Historia
This number-one New York Times best seller is an unflinching look at what the television cameras could not show: behind-the-scenes meetings, the deteriorating relationships between the defense and prosecution teams, the taunting, baiting, and pushing matches between Darden and Simpson, the intimate relationship between Darden and Marcia Clark, and the candid factors behind Darden's controversial decision for Simpson to try on the infamous glove, and much more.

A Great Man Tested!!
Revisado: 02-22-23
I wanted to read this book because seeing the trial on TV, I noticed how Judge Ito was weak, and awestruck by stars; and in the stardom of his infamy. I felt so bad for Christopher Darden, and Marcia Clark. No matter what they did they were railroaded by the Defense and Judge Ito. Christopher Darden is a great man and I felt bad for him, with the pain he suffered, just trying to do his job. He should hold his head up high in the community, for he did the right thing, and he did it well!! GOD’s Blessings for the future and for Christopher Darden!!

Historia
From the outside, the prosecution's case looked bulletproof, but Marcia Clark knew better. Mountains of physical evidence connected O. J. Simpson to the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman, but that didn't mean it would be easy. For the woman charged with prosecuting the "Trial of the Century", the light of fame would glow white hot, as the media scrutinized her strategy, her family, even her hair. As the case spun out of control, Marcia Clark stood tall.

She was railroaded by the media daily, from start to finish, but she stuck to her ground and did her job the best she could. She was never going to win this case, because of circumstances out of her control!!

Historia
Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.

Love The Jack Reacher Character
Revisado: 08-11-22
Great book, and an even better Season One on Prime Video. My only complained about the Audiobook was the narrator… Did not care for Dick Hill; all of the characters sounded the same… Hard to keep them apart from each other!!

In John, Cynthia recalls those times with the loving honesty of an insider, offering new and fascinating insights into the life of John Lennon and the early days of the Beatles. And with the perspective only years can provide, she also tells the compelling story of her marriage to a man who was to become a music legend, a cultural hero, and a defining figure of the 20th century.

Changed My Opinion
Revisado: 07-02-22
I’ve Loved the “version” in my head, of John Lennon. Being a huge fan of “The Beatles”, I loved them all, but always had a connection with John. After going through this book, my opinion has changed, making me sad, about how he was a horrible father to Julian; and a horrible “ex-spouse” to Cynthia!! For a man that pushed “Love, not War”, he didn’t seem to live a good life, with said philosophy!! Now I know there are three sides to every story - His, Hers, and the truth. But I tend to believe a lot of this version, because it is backed by others, concerning the same stories. I feel bad for Julian. He and his father were starting to build a new relationship, when he lost John. In closing, I have a hard time hearing John’s music or the Beatles music today, because my opinion has changed. I still love the rest of The Beatles and I’m really impressed how Paul McCartney was his own man, defying John, when the others (Beatles and Friends) wouldn’t, concerning his split with Cynthia. Plus, sidenote, I don’t know how a father could treat, or not see his son, just because he went through a divorce. I can understand limiting one’s conversations with the “ex” outside of raising the child, but ignoring your son is an excusable! The only thing I wanted more out of the book, was more information about the forming of the Beatles, and how John wrote songs, when he and Cynthia were alone; that part went to fast.
