Brutal overuse of plot twists

Nothing can go straight. Always there's a but, a turn around, a plot twist. Really aggravating at times to me.
No feel of progression, because everything is the same challenge for MC even he's supposed to be super duper special. Only his own pets and allies fall terribly behind.
Story meanders at time and is boring. Essential and minor details get dragged out. And then a rushed turbo power up, that still doesn't mean much.
So timing, feel of urgency, progression and advancement feels off.

How stupid and contrived

Characters and the world are forced in illogical ways just to push a narrative and some social points.
But I can't really stand stupid MCs and parents acting like idiots because they are the parents. Doesn't look like, the write is a parent themselves.

Reminder not to continue, painfully slow stupid MC

Oh so stupid Characters, timescale and world not working, boring skills, adult "great Souls" are all acting like children, stupid school setting, expect utter stupidity of every character, twist of fates every 5 min, whiny MC, "subverted" expectations all allong so you just know it's coming but the question is how stupid or painful to listen to.

Too boring, too short...

... to justify its price, endless listings of the board are just a waste of time and annoying. Forced drama that really isn't worth it, with no payoff. At least not in a foreseeable future. Please Tao, stick to your better books.

Very slow and then very rushed

Very slow and then very rushed book. Very tedious for 2/3 and then huge level ups and resolves in the last 1/3.

Ok, but no progression at all...

Ok, but no progression at all. Doesn't feel like a real end of the second trilogy. And the biggest flaw, no real progression. It feels more like a prologue and all the really interesting and important stuff happened elsewhere

Pretty boring, lots and lots of talking

A whole lot of nothing. Just a prolog for the next book. Lots of talking and explaining. Didn't feel any tension.

It's ok, but very slow and boring at times.

I don't know how many hours the main character is explaining this and that. Of the world, his decision reasons and mostly about all sort of this kind of magic, that should fit in with the rest of the world of the other books. But it's so tedious and no real end of the book. The whole book just sounds like a prologue.

Not finished, boring and unimaginative

Oh so slow and the endless rambling over new age stuff from a 68 generation, mystifying real world stuff but trivializing the fantasy world just doesn't do it for me.
