Historia
Arriving in San Francisco and investigating the area in secret, the young riders are reunited with Kallista's father, Leo Babbage, who reveals that the humans in the city are working as slaves to the dragons, but that they don't want to be rescued - himself included. He says they are being protected by their new master: a huge, powerful white dragon who lives in an impenetrable tower fortress overlooking the city. Kallista is stunned by the news. Why would her father ever willingly want to work for dragons?

Kudos once again
Revisado: 01-21-22
A climactic and dramatic finish to the series. once again would like to praise the narrator for the variance and passion put into the characters. Each one was breathed their own life.
A wonderful listen

Trenton Colman is exceptionally creative, with a knack for all things mechanical. But his talents are viewed with suspicion in Cove, a steam-powered city built inside a mountain. In Cove, creativity is a crime, and invention is a curse word.

Steampunk meets fantasy
Revisado: 01-14-22
The build and character development take priority in the beginning, as most books do. But it builds this world driven by cogs and gears that is easily viewable in the minds eye. The narrator has an Orson Wells quality to their voice and voices each character uniquely and distinctly. An excellent listen

Historia
When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

Excellent listen
Revisado: 12-22-21
The only complaint I have was a lack of emotion during dramatic scenes. Other than that the narration was clean and refreshing and I liked all the character voices. I see complaints aplenty about the choice of voice for Sapphira, but remember the part with the main character and not knowing the gender. The voice makes perfect sense to me.
All in all a good book, and great work on the narration.
