Gorgeous stories both harrowing and lovely. I will read this book again and again. BUT I will NOT listen to the audiobook again. Though the author does a fantastic job there is weird, loud music in between every chapter that is terribly annoying and jarring. It’s only about 4 seconds but it’s 4 seconds too long. Please remove the music and this would be a perfect 5 star audiobook.

If you love Eddie you will LOVE this

This is exactly what I wanted. It’s beautiful, poignant, bittersweet, silly and completely rambling and goes off on a million tangents but always returns to center; just like Eddie. It was a joy to learn so much about their life and journey and philosophy and a delight to listen to Eddie through it all. I will listen again and again.

Great book, poor performance

I love this series and was excited to listen after reading it again and again for the past 25 years. But the performance leaves much to be desired. The narrator stumbles often, mispronounces words and is rather dull. This book deserves a better reader.
