Historia
Iris Scanlon, Half-Moon Hollow's only daytime vampire concierge, knows more about the undead than she'd like. Running all their daylight errands - from letting in the plumber to picking up some chilled O neg - gives her a look at the not-so-glamorous side of vampire life. Her rules are strict; relationships with vamps are strictly business, not friendship - and certainly not anything else. But then she finds her newest client, Cal, poisoned on his kitchen floor, and only Iris can help.

If you could sum up The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires in three words, what would they be?
Funny, Sexy, Romantic
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires?
I loved the bond that Iris has with her sister Gigi. They stick together no matter what.
Which scene was your favorite?
I personally loved the scene where Iris's Ex boyfriend stops by unexpectedly and finds a very sexy Vampire putting moves on his former lover.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Sexy Vampire meets Sexy Human, need I say more?
Any additional comments?
Molly Harper has quickly become my favorite Author. This is an excellent spin off of the Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs series. Can't wait to see more from her!

Historia
Picking up from A Discovery of Witches' cliff-hanger ending, Shadow of Night takes reluctant witch Diana Bishop and vampire geneticist Matthew Clairmont on a trip through time to Elizabethan London, where they are plunged into a world of spies, magic, and a coterie of Matthew's old friends, the School of Night. As the search for Ashmole 782—the lost and enchanted manuscript whose mystery first pulled Diana and Matthew into one another's orbit—deepens and Diana seeks out a witch to tutor her in magic, the net of Matthew's past tightens around them.

A wonderful step back in time.
Revisado: 08-06-12
If you could sum up Shadow of Night in three words, what would they be?
Adventurous, Historical, Captivating
Who was your favorite character and why?
Diana Bishop is my favorite character in this book because she shows so much courage and kindness throughout the story. I would love to be half the women she is. You learn more about who her parents are and why they had to put a spell on her for her own good.
Which scene was your favorite?
I don't like to give away good parts but I will just say that it doesn't disappoint.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Their were several parts that made me chuckle and get teary eyed. It's a mixed emotion type of book.
Any additional comments?
I know it might seem boring in parts( If you don't like History you might have a problem with this book) but stick with it and you won't be disappointed. The Narrator did an excellent job at the many different accents in this story. She never bored me.

Excelent Conclusion to this series
Revisado: 06-19-12
Where does Bloodrose: A Nightshade Novel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of my top 5 series I just loved. If you like romance, adventure, and of course stories about wolves then this one is for you.
What other book might you compare Bloodrose: A Nightshade Novel to and why?
The whole time I was listening to these books I kept thinking they reminded me of the Hunger Games with wolves in it. A different story of course but It has the same feel to it as the Hunger Games which I also loved.
What does Rebecca Lowman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The Narrator really does a great job at the different voices and the characteristics of each voice. I very much enjoyed listening to her.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I couldn't stop listening once I started, it was very intense.
Any additional comments?
I thought that this was an awesome end to this series even though I will miss it. The Author did a great job at giving you some closure at the end. Loved It!!!

Charlie is Back!
Revisado: 03-23-12
Where does Third Grave Dead Ahead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I love Charlie's character in this book, well I love her in every book she seemed funnier in this one. Lots of sarcasm and funny things she gets herself into. I think this was the best one yet in the series. It explains some things but still leaves it wide open for a sequel. Frankly I think the Author could go on forever with this story if she wanted to and I hope she does. A couple of new characters are introduced in this one and am anxious to see them in the next book. Hope it comes out soon!!!
What other book might you compare Third Grave Dead Ahead to and why?
Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs series. It has the same supernatural feel and comic relief.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scene is when she finally meets Mistress Marigold.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When she finds her clients missing wife was pretty moving

Sad Story
Revisado: 08-29-11
This story is great but hard to listen to in some parts. It's about abused children that turn into Mermaids, need I say more. Their stories are sad but it sends a good message. I really felt the pain of the main character Luce and can't wait for the sequel. If you have a hard time with stories of abuse though I wouldn't recommend this one for you. It's quite depressing all the way through. Thumbs up from me though.

Quentin Coldwater is brilliant but miserable. A senior in high school, he's still secretly preoccupied with a series of fantasy novels he read as a child, set in a magical land called Fillory. Imagine his surprise when he finds himself unexpectedly admitted to a very secret, very exclusive college of magic in upstate New York, where he receives a thorough and rigorous education in the craft of modern sorcery.

No Harry Potter
Revisado: 08-29-11
If Harry Potter was an adult book then maybe it would be somewhat like this story. The story starts out slow and you are constantly waiting for the Plot to begin. Nothing really exciting happens till the book is half way over. It's not till they find their storybook world Fillory witch sounds a lot like Narnia that the story gets very interesting. Once you get to that part you won't want to stop listening. I don't care too much for the Narrator because he gets boring sometimes but if you can stick it out you won't be disappointed. There is bad language, adult situations, drug and alcohol use and violence in this book so don't listen if you don't like those kinds of things.

Like Hunger Games with Wolves
Revisado: 08-10-11
I Loved this sequel because unlike some it started right where it left off. It reminds me a lot of the Hunger Games with wolves of course. Just like the Children in Hunger Games they are forced to fight and have been lied to about everything they knew. The characters are great and it was hard for me to stop listening. It explains a lot more of the things we didn't get answered in the first book, and it gets a whole lot more interesting with the new characters in the story. Loved It and can't wait for the next book cause like the first one it leaves you hanging at the end.

Great Story
Revisado: 08-03-11
If you can get past the thick Southern Accents when listening to this book, then I think you will find it pretty interesting. The story is somewhat predictable though. If you like stories about Werewolves then I recommend it. There is also a murder mystery in it too which was pretty cool.

Revisado: 07-07-11
This story was the funniest Werewolf story I have ever heard. I love the main character Mo, she is Hilarious! The story is kinda predictable but I like predictable stories. The humor alone in this story makes it a great book to read. Loved It! Love the Narrator too! This is a must read if you like Werewolf stories or you just need a good laugh.

Not so great Vampire story
Revisado: 07-07-11
This would have been a much better story if the two main charters were Lesbians. I thought it was a very lacking story and reminded me of True Blood. I can think of a tone of much better Vampire stories then this one. I don't really wanna hear a story about a Per-miscues Teenager that can't decide which Boyfriend to pick when there are bigger problems going on in the story. The Author doesn't do a good job at trying to have the reader really capture the characters. You don't even get to know the charterers till later cause when it starts you are in the middle of a story that has already started. I don't like that. Thumbs down for this one sorry...
