Greta world building, definetely gives Disney but sexier

Main characters are sweet cream puffs like you would expect in a Disney style fairytale, there is absolutely spice and it is hot don't get me wrong but the characters are all loving, sweet and wholesome, hoenstly unbelievably so. World building is great but there is definetely soe.thjng missing in the characters in that they are like epitome of good. it's just so black and white as to be kind of annoying.

STRONGLY disliked the FMC at times, her characterization was a bit flip floppy at the beginning and threw me off throughout the book. just nostalgic enough with just the right tone to bet a 4 star imo though. the spice is great and author manages to separate that from the story enough to keep the chikdhood fairytale retelling vibe and still give enough spice to make this a contender. all in all solid book, will get book 2 shortly,

Rough start but it's good

The book started a Lil rough but if you have faith and don't trust the 'oh no please don't tell me' feelings it turns out fantastic. already found book 2 on Kindle since I couldn't wait for audible to get there 😂

A very vanilla RH so far

Honestly, it's a decent book. athe major issue i have is there is nothing super remarkable and it feels like the author tried to jam way to much trauma into the FL, tortured as a kid, kidnapped and stalked it's just borders on trauma porn more than backstory for me while somehow simultaneously also being vanilla. make it make sense how you out 5 men in the harem and we get 1 VERY vanilla sex scene and suprise the FL is a virgin. Just feels really juvenile, felt like we got no where in book 1.

Love the FL, Reading was better than listening but still A1

Absolutely adore the characters, they are each unique and well fleshed out with quirks. lovable psycho poly group who yes all get at each other. love this series so much I read it first then listened to the books and to really get the right tone I think reading it comes through better. that said, great listen, great book, great author!!!

excellent writing and storytelling really made this book a stand out. was interesting, unique and fun with full bodied characters that kept me engaged start to finish. Great addition to my lubrary!

Interesting premise

Actually good writing, the narrarator did great with the sparky commentator we were supposed to hate but the MFC just sounded whiny and annoying despite surviving essentially the plot of death race meets alien vs. predator. All around a fun listen, not sure I'll listen to the rest but solid 8/10 I'd say

it's VERY cookie cutter and I would rate it low spice for sure. Anyone who is into the family building, pregnancy trope is would find it pleasant though

So for a mafia romance they managed to better that line pretty well on chauvinism lol THE biggest downfall for me about this book being 'purity' seems to be a THING if you feel me and not just mentioned like once or twice... which just gives me the ick. Otherwise, decent plot and character building.
