Historia
The people who call End of the Line need hope. They need reassurance that life is worth living. But some are unlucky enough to get through to Laura. Laura doesn’t want them to hope. She wants them to die. Laura hasn’t had it easy: she's survived sickness and a difficult marriage only to find herself heading for forty, unsettled and angry. She doesn't love talking to people worse off than she is. She craves it. But now someone’s on to her - Ryan, whose world falls apart when his pregnant wife ends her life, hand in hand with a stranger.

It was a little slow in the beginning, but then picked up about halfway through. I was really looking forward to her being exposed and Ryan being exonerated. But the ending really ruined the book for me. Very unsatisfying!

Historia
Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have just one thing in common. They were all murdered by the same man. He hunted them online, masquerading as an eligible bachelor. Then he played the perfect gentleman, a thick layer of charm and a thousand-watt smile hiding the fact that his first dates end in shallow graves. He’s gotten away with murder three times now. The only thing that might keep him from killing again? The women he murdered. Meghan, Brecia, and Skye might be dead, but they’re not gone. They’ve found each other. And they won’t rest until they find a way to stop him. The haunt is on.

Finally! Something different and imaginative:)

I loved the whole idea—very creative! It could have been confusing with the different timelines and all. But she explained it very thoroughly.

Historia
What can drive a young and seemingly innocent child to kill? Murder is horrible enough when perpetrated by adults, and yet the concept takes on a whole new level of chilling morbidity when a murderer is revealed to be a young boy or girl. Is it the result of severe trauma manifesting itself in the most macabre of ways? Is it the progeny of some severe mental disorder? Or were they influenced by the actions of the people they grew up with? Most of the time, the answers to such a question are simple but no less horrific.

So many mispronounced words!
Revisado: 07-30-22
The story was interesting, and the reader has promise. But good Lord, why didn’t anyone correct all his mispronounced words!? I mean, isn’t that a given if you’re a professional reader? 😳 Did no one listen to him and edit before the final performance was published? I don’t know HOW many times he said “EH-pi-tome.” 😣 Others of note were “psy-chi-A-trist,” “dis-HEH-veled,” and “exersion” (for excursion). There were more, but I can’t remember them all. Otherwise, his intonation and expressions were good. The mispronunciations just got annoying after a while.

A waste of time.
Revisado: 03-11-22
I’ve read a couple hundred books on Audible, but I’ve never left a review until now. Spoiler Alert: The ending was TERRIBLE. It left me frustrated and really annoyed that the author didn’t try harder to create a more satisfying conclusion. She really dropped the ball—and it’s a shame, because it could have been a good book:/
