As the final book in the series from Jesse’s POV I didn’t want it to end! It’s still amazing to me how much I adored this book and series even though I already knew the whole story from Ava’s POV. I never imagined the hold these books would have on me, but here we are. Jodi’s writing is so colorful and she is such a powerful storyteller, and then add the heartbreakingly intense emotions we feel watching this love story from Jesse’s point of view and you have a literary masterpiece. Then to make a 5 star book into a 10 star audiobook, just add Shane East narrating as Jesse Ward and I can’t imaging anything better. The emotional range that Shane East displays as Jesse is phenomenal and achingly beautiful. Best audiobook of the year by far.

This is the first book in a new spinoff series from Donna Grant focusing on the elves living on Zora. It can be read without reading the previous series but if you have then you will love seeing some returning characters. Donna is a master at world building and crafting a compelling adventure story with the budding live story at the heart of it all. Shane East was absolutely brilliant and really brought this incredible story and these colorful characters to life. Definitely worth a credit and I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series.

Kayley Loring and Connor Crais are the best collaboration to hit the romance world in as long as I can remember. This is their 5th book together as co-authors, and the start of a new series, and I am here for all of it. The Billionaire is Back is a small town, billionaire, brother's best friend, second chance romance with all the banter and hilarity I have come to expect from this writing duo.
Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor are one of my favorite narration combos and they nailed it again this time as well. Their comedic timing is impeccable and the comfort and familiarity they have working together comes through as authentic in their portrayals of these complex and dynamic characters. Do yourself a favor and spend a credit on this one, you won't be sorry.

I love Tessa Bailey and my expectations were high and this book did not disappoint. As an avid golfer myself, and someone who has traveled on the PGA Tour with a top 10 player (as a nanny), I was worried that the details wouldn't be quite right, but I worried unnecessarily. Not only did Tessa Bailey get all the golf terms right and the nuance of playing on the tour, but she also nailed ALL of the concerns and issues and minute details of someone having Type 1 diabetes. My spouse also has Type 1 and I doubted that it would be portrayed accurately, but again I was wrong. The tiniest details were all so thoughtfully and accurately discussed and addressed that it was truly a breath of fresh air. It is one thing to research something (T1D and the PGA Tour) but quite another thing to write about it authentically. The romance was relatable, there was just enough steam, and the angst was kept to a minimum, just how I like it.
I also usually prefer dual or duet narration but I have to admit that Callie Dalton was incredible and made this book feel like it was dual narration. High praise for a solo narration and I will definitely be looking for her in more books.

This is a new to me author and I haven't read the rest of the series but I loved this one. If you love a good first responder/firefighter romance you should give this one a try. Victoria Connolly and Michael Norman Johnson are fantastic and really give this book a spark that only great narrators can bring.

This is the 5th and final book in the Unlawful Men series and I am so sorry that it is over! As a huge fan of Jodi Ellen Malpas, I have been devouring the books in this series and I was anxiously awaiting this final book and it did not disappoint. This series is a super spicy, fast paced, keep you on the edge of your seat, mafia romance and I could listen to these books on a loop. Jodi develops her characters like no other, and the twists and turns and surprises and action in this series keeps the pages turning late into the night. I found myself wanting to listen as fast as I could to see what would happen next and wanting to slow it down so it would never end, all at the same time. If you are familiar with the series, this book is centered on Brad Black and his reluctant but inevitable relationship with Pearl.
This book is definitely best consumed in audio format. The talent of the narrators in this book and the entire series is spectacular. It is recorded in dual style with multiple POV's, but by a full cast of 5 incredible narrators. The drama that these actors bring to this story can't be replaced by simply reading it from the page.
My only complaint is that the series is ending and we won't get to revisit this characters! This will go on the re-listen list for sure. Bravo to everyone involved!

This is a new to me author and I was drawn to this book for the narrator, Victoria Connolly. I am so glad I tried it! Olena, the female main character, is undiagnosed ADHD and struggles with many day to day tasks and habits, but is a very talented landscape designer. She is sometimes annoying, but so relatable in her struggles. Jude is the landscaper who she works with on a project and he falls for Olena very quickly, borderline instalove. These two characters are likable, relatable, and sympathetic and you find yourself rooting for them right from the start. HEA is very satisfying and fully developed.
Victoria Connolly and Benjamin Sands are amazing and truly embody these characters and draw you into the story effortlessly. It is performed in dual style narration and both Victoria and Benjamin are so incredibly talented with their opposite gender characters that it almost feels like duet style. This book is definitely worth a credit for the audio. Loved it and will look for more by this author and these narrators.

I adore a good small town love story with a touch of suspense and mystery and Claire Kingsley is a master of this kind of book. This is the second book in the Haven Brothers series and I love seeing many of the other residents of Tilikum show up in these books. This one has a little steam, not much angst, a good dose of suspense and action, and the perfect amount of heart and romance.
Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton are absolutely brilliant and brought light and life to these characters. Desireé Ketchum was a real treat as a side character and I hope we see more of her in the next books in this series.

This book was by a new to me author and narrator and I am so glad I tried something new! This is a surprise pregnancy trope which aren't always my favorite but this one really handled it well. It was refreshing to see an author writing characters with physical handicaps who were incredibly capable and mostly self assured in spite of those handicaps. The characters were very well developed, likable and relatable and you were rooting for them to find their HEA from the get-go. The one-night stand turned oops notwithstanding, this was a relatively slow burn romance and included just the right amount of spice for this story, not closed door but not super steamy either.

Victoria Connolly is a new to me narrator and I was thoroughly impressed with her performance. I generally prefer dual or duet narration but with the entire book from the heroine's POV it made perfect sense to just have one narrator. Victoria's male voice is incredible and I found myself forgetting that it was just one person performing this book. She kept me engaged and emersed in the book so much that I didn't want it to end. I am hopeful to find many more books with this up and coming narrator.

If you are a fan of Lauren Blakely, romcoms, hockey romance, and a good why choose scenario, then this audiobook is a must listen! What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas and thank goodness. This book has a little of everything: fake marriage in Vegas, teammates falling for the same woman, an unexpected job as a hockey mascot, and plenty of "play" time with all three main characters.

Samantha Brentmoor, Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton are a threesome made in heaven and the banter between these three fantastic actors (in duet style) is next level. You will laugh out loud, blush, and wish this audiobook would be hours longer. A guaranteed good time.
