Historia
Although a couple of wars were fought on the European continent during the 19th century, an uneasy peace was mostly maintained across the continent for most of the 19th century after Napoleon. Despite this ostensible peace, the Europeans were steadily conducting arms races against each other. With Europe anticipating a potential war, all that was missing was a conflagration. That would start in 1908, when Austria-Hungary annexed Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Balkan Peninsula, drawing it into dispute with Russia. Moreover, this upset neighboring Serbia.

Well written but many assumptions presented
Revisado: 03-21-19
The book is what it is, many good facts but many missing as well and a lot of assumptions presented on Serbian historical figures. The WORST part is the narrator didn’t just mispronounce the names of the Slavic peoples, he brutalized them. I am familiar with Serbian history and language, and the narrator didn’t even make an effort to learn how to pronounce these names. So bad I almost didn’t recognize who he was talking about. For that reason, I would just read the book, not get the audible.
