A cute story, which could be better with a little editing. The inner monologs tended to ramble a bit.

My personal biggest problem is the narrator. While I can forgive that he tended to double his narration speed in stressful situations, I can not forgive the butchering of the name Bowie! It is expressly said in the book, the name refers to the singer, how hard was it to double check how the name is pronounced?

What did you love best about Whiskey Beach?

I loved the whole book. The characters, the setting, the atmosphere.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved the main protagonists and how they dealt with the hardships that life had thrown at their path.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the very last scene.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was. I had planned to listen to an hour before going to bed and ended up listening all night.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

While the narrator did her best, this was not what I expected and the main characters were not very likable.

What was one of the most memorable moments of From Russia with Claws?

None.

How could the performance have been better?

The performance was actually quite good.

Was From Russia with Claws worth the listening time?

Not really. The story had no grip and listening to a girl whine about how horny she is was not a good time.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story itself was quite entertaining, but the narration seems awfully rushed and the editing is even worse. Plus there is an annoying hum in the background.

What did you like best about this story?

The main characters seemed like regular teenagers with real problems.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Erin Farris?

I listened to the first book in the same series and that was quality work

Is there anything you would change about this book?

After the main characters actually got together there were a few too many sex scenes for my taste. Although the descriptions of the scenes were refreshingly direct, they became a little too close together for me to enjoy the progress of the story.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything by Molly Harper or Nora Roberts.

What about Dara Rosenberg’s performance did you like?

The narrator did a wonderful job, I liked everything about her performance.

Was Jason & Cadence worth the listening time?

Kinda sorta. It was definetly amusing, but the ending dragged a lot.

"Fuck-me boots" and living in a trailer should not be a womans highest aspirations.

What disappointed you about Truth?

After the conclusion of the first book, I hoped the main character had grown a spine, but alas...

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything else.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Although the narrator does an exellent job, somehow her voice sounds like an old womans to me.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Truth?

I would have cut everything after the antagonist meets up with the "protagonist" again.

What would have made Consequences better?

The main character could have had some brains, that might have worked.

What could Aleatha Romig have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The writing itself was quite good, but the premesis of the story was just stupid.

What didn’t you like about Romy Nordlinger’s performance?

Although the performance was good narration wise, to me she sounded like an old woman.

What character would you cut from Consequences?

Cutting the protagonist would make the whole book nonexistant, so that would solve it.

The antagonists story was actually interesting, but everything else around it was just plain stupid.

Would you consider the audio edition of Skin Game to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version, I am too enamoured with James Marsterses performance to revert to boring print.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Although Harry has always been my favourite, I did love the Mouse/Maggie duo- absolutely adorable.

Which character – as performed by James Marsters – was your favorite?

James always does a great job. All the characters have individual voices and his performance is always masterful.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Parkour!

This book series is my personal favourite and I love every single one of them.
