Historia
Alan Dershowitz has been called “one of the most prominent and consistent defenders of civil liberties in America” by Politico and “the nation’s most peripatetic civil liberties lawyer and one of its most distinguished defenders of individual rights” by Newsweek. Get Trump makes clear that unconstitutional efforts to stop Trump from retaking the presidency challenge the very foundations of our liberty: due process, right to counsel, and free speech.

Apologies for representing Trump
Revisado: 02-17-24
Can’t believe a smart man like Dershowitz won’t admit Trump is good for America- he says Trump is dangerous- how is that ? More freedom, less war, more jobs, enemies fear him, less inflation . More justice !
What is Dershowitz talking about?

Historia
The Chinese economy appears destined for failure, the financial bubble forever in peril of popping, the real estate sector doomed to collapse, the factories fated for bankruptcy. Orlik games out what will happen if the bubble that never pops finally does. The magnitude of the shock to China and the world would be tremendous. For those in the West nervously watching China's rise as a geopolitical challenger, the alternative could be even less palatable.

The narrator didn’t bother to learn the correct pronunciation of Xi. Pronounced it “see”. Instead of the correct “shed”

Historia
Bill Bryson once again proves himself to be an incomparable companion as he guides us through the human body - how it functions, its remarkable ability to heal itself, and (unfortunately) the ways it can fail. Full of extraordinary facts (your body made a million red blood cells since you started reading this) and irresistible Bryson-esque anecdotes, The Body will lead you to a deeper understanding of the miracle that is life in general and you in particular. As Bill Bryson writes, "We pass our existence within this wobble of flesh and yet take it almost entirely for granted."

Historia
Among the most consistent and aggressive criticisms of Donald Trump is that he is a threat to American democracy - a human wrecking ball demolishing our most basic values and institutions. Resistance (at All Costs) makes the opposite case - that it is Trump's critics, in their zeal to oppose the president, who are undermining our foundations.

AMAZINGLY DETAILED AND ENLIGHTENING
Revisado: 10-18-19
This book unravels and elucidates the complex events that have been orchestrated by the “resistance” since Trumps decision to seek the presidency . Many , many untold stories are revealed. This is not a sycophantic defense of President Trump, rather, it is an extensively researched expose’ of the attempts by some to deny America a duly elected leader.

Historia
All of our relationships and decisions involve trading at some level. This is a book about decision-making through the lens of a professional prop trader. For years, behavioral and cognitive scientists have shown us how human decision-making is flawed and biased. But how do you learn to avoid these problems in day-to-day decisions where you have to react in real-time? What are the important things to think about and to act on?

An intimate view of real life in China
Revisado: 08-15-19
The story is touching . Even though I Have studied and visited China multiple times, I still gained valuable and substantial new insight into the plight of young Chinese women.
The only thing I found in error is the criticism of the Trump administration. Obviously Ms. Kan based her views on erroneous and biased news agencies from the USA and in China.
A strong and determined American president is exactly what is needed to check the abuses of the CCP she describes. I trust Ms. Kan will independently research American politics for herself and form her own conclusions. America loves Chinese people, but not the Chinese government. Our cities are full of smart , hardworking Chinese who are a wonderful part of the AMERICAN fabric. May
God bless them!!

Historia
What's Wrong with China is the widely anticipated follow-up to Paul Midler's Poorly Made in China, an expose of China manufacturing practices. Applying a wider lens in this account, he reveals many of the deep problems affecting Chinese society as a whole. Once again, Midler delivers the goods by rejecting commonly held notions, breaking down old myths, and providing fresh explanations of lesser-understood cultural phenomena.

A Very Accurate Analysis of China And Its Nature
Revisado: 06-24-19
Have spent much time in China and am married into one of the families, so I am blessed to see it from the perspective of the locals. This book is dead-on accurate . Helped me to resolve many questions and suspicions I have raised.
Outside of my adopted Chinese family , I do not enjoy doing business with most Chinese as one has to always keep your guard up and assume that a win-win perspective is not mutually shared. But, that’s ok as long as both sides understand it from the start !
Most concerning is how our well meaning but naive politicians of the past have been taken as fools. Our country has to negotiate hard-nosed, rejecting all the nonsense . This book makes a great case for this . Love the people as they have many lovable and admirable characteristics ! But, when it comes time for business- make it all business !

Historia
Drawing on new research, including the diaries, memoirs, and personal letters of both Lenin and his friends, Victor Sebestyen's unique biography - the first in English in nearly two decades - is not only a political examination of one of the most important historical figures of the 20th century but a portrait of Lenin the man. Unexpectedly, Lenin was someone who loved nature, hunting, and fishing and could identify hundreds of species of plants, a despotic ruler whose closest ties and friendships were with women.

Historia
A landmark collaboration between a thirty-year veteran of the CIA and a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, The Main Enemy is the inside story of the CIA-KGB spy wars, told through the actions of the men who fought them. Based on hundreds of interviews with operatives from both sides, The Main Enemy puts us inside the heads of CIA officers as they dodge surveillance and walk into violent ambushes in Moscow. This is the story of the generation of spies who came of age in the shadow of the Cuban missile crisis and rose to run the CIA and KGB in the last days of the Cold War.

This is an amazing account of the challenges, the bungling, the bravery, the victories of our intelligence agencies. It is even humorous at times . Though the brutal KGB was relentless, it failed because “the dogs don’t like the food”.
