Historia
The Third Circle Theory is the theory that the founder of Secret Entourage created to explain how visionaries are made and billion dollar ideas born from nothing more than your observations. The theory which has proven to be the same for all the successful individuals who have not only found their purpose in life but have executed on their beliefs, and as a result established themselves as successful innovators, explorers, educators, and entrepreneurs is now clearly defined and will teach you how to live successfully.

You’ll get more out of a fortune cookie
Revisado: 09-04-19
This book is a 5 hour long fortune cookie. Repetitively filled with common sense that anyone who was not raised by wolves all ready knows. So basic and unoriginal.

The worst of the memory books
Revisado: 07-07-19
I download several audio books. This was the worst. He wastes a lot of time with useless information like “use flash cards” and “get good sleep”
Very little is spent on actual memory techniques.
Get “memorize this” by “bob kittell “. That one is Techniques from beginning to end

Historia
Let’s face it: we all want a seat at the cool table, a great job, and loads of money. But most of us won’t be able to achieve this widely accepted, black-or-white, definition of winning, which makes us feel like failures, that we’re destined to a life of loserdom. That’s the conventional wisdom. It’s also crap, according to comedian and cult hero Chris Gethard, who knows a thing of two about losing. Failing is an art form, he argues; in fact, it’s the only the way we’re ever going to discover who we are, what we really want, and how to live the kind of life we only dreamed about.

Best book written by a comedian
Revisado: 12-11-18
It’s ridiculous to rate a book on a 1 to 5 scale.
If War and Peace is a five I guess this book would be -24.
But if War and Peace is a gourmet meal it a 5 star gourmet meal.
This book is a 5 star healthy protein bar. It’s definitely one of the best books written by a comedian that I’ve read. Most of the time I can’t even finish them, they are do trivial. Usually comedians can’t write well. Chris is a good story teller.
I don’t quite think he is in a league with David Sedaris , Dave Barry or Spaulding Gray...but I think he could be a great writer / story teller... if he wanted to...
As far as this book is concerned really like his stories (if that was not clear)I was a little board by the life coaching but other people might like that part. And it would have been easy for me to skip those parts if I liked.
If this book were longer I would have stayed with it. And he seems like such a mensch, you have to like him.
Chris seems like a fun interesting guy, someone I’d like to hang out with (don’t worry I’m not a stalker).
The reason I listened in the first place is because I love the HBO show. It’s interesting to see a guy like Chris do a bunch of things some I love like the HBO show, some I like such as this book. Some I’m on the fence with like the podcast and some I hate like the Chris Gethard show. But whatever he puts out I’m going to at least try. I’m a fan.

Incredibly Repetitive- Just Read The Title and Move On
Revisado: 11-27-18
Every page was the same thing over and over again.
How many different ways can you say that “if you focus on one thing and get really good at that one thing rather than spread yourself thin, you are more likely to be successful?”
That’s what this book says, over and over and over.
He uses different words and says it in slightly different ways. But says nothing else, nothing new.
You can read any one page, any one chapter or simply read the title and you have the whole book.
Don’t get fooled by the different sections and chapters. There is nothing new here.
Read the title and be done.
And I did listen to the whole thing.
What a waste of time.
He mentions his website a lot, so I think he wrote the book to promote the website. But how you can build a following based on one piece of common sense is beyond me.
I’m not saying he is wrong it’s just that this book should be a pamphlet.

Historia
Does Earth have portals to an extraterrestrial world? Do these portals lead to the legendary island paradise where the old grow young again? Our ancestors believed in a physical place that promised health, happiness, and immortality. Today we consider the old legends to be myths, nothing more than sailor's fish stories. Yet some of the most prominent names in history devoted their entire lives to searching for the lost island of paradise - and they found it.

The worst narrator EVER!!!
Revisado: 06-12-17
I like the stories but if feels like the narrated is angry at you. It's like he is reading a manual on how to put a computer together. He has no rhythm or cadence to his voice, no inflection. It's robotic and monotonous. I may not be able to finish the book which is too bad because I like the content.

There is some good astrology mixed in with the authors own sad personal story
Revisado: 08-23-16
There is some good astrology in between the authors personal journal of her own heartbreak self loathing.
She assumes that everyone is also wounded and feels unloved. If this is you then you may like this tact. But if you have self confidence and are generally happy you just feel sorry for her.
However, try to ignore the whining because there is something to learn in terms of astrology. And considering that there are not many audio books on the this subject it is worth listening to.
Try to listen to the whole thing because while sometimes she goes on for a while talking about her personal demons and self love you never know where the astrology will come in.
I would only listen while I was doing something else and do I could tune out when she got too off track.
It is as if she really needed someone to talk to and get her problems off of her chest. I hope this helped her.
The narrator for the most part is good but she mispronounces Uranus. It should be pronounced YUR-en-us. But she says
"your-ANUS". And she says it over and over in the most inappropriate places and it gets quite funny especially when in the context of the authors very sad personal journal.
It reminds me of an old Victor Borge comedy routine.
I gave it a high review simply because I thought that it was worth the time and effort I put in.

Historia
God Is Disappointed in You is for people who would like to read the Bible...if it would just cut to the chase. Stripped of its arcane language and interminable passages, every book of the Bible is condensed down to its core message, in no more than a few pages each. Written by Mark Russell with cartoons by New Yorker cartoonist Shannon Wheeler, God Is Disappointed in You is a frequently hilarious, often shocking, but always accurate retelling of the Bible, including the parts selectively left out by Sunday School teachers.

I thought it was going to be pure satire but it wasn't. It was funny because it was truthful. It want even mocking the bible. Just blunt and really really funny.
This could even make a believer out of people in the same way as the bible could. Or it could turn someone off in the same way.
The bottom line is it a version of the bible that a person could actually finish and learn something and be entertained. This is s great book for believers and atheists alike.
Oh yes, the narrator was by far the best narrator of any book I have ever listened to.
