Historia
Across the country women are being murdered by a killer who leaves no evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of struggle, and no clues to a motive. They are, truly, perfect crimes. In fact, the only thing that links the victims is the man they all knew: Jack Reacher.

Good story - Still a bit off in the real timeline
Revisado: 01-06-24
I liked the story. Easy to figure out, but kept throwing curves. The military timeline still isn’t realistic. He was born in 1963…that puts him as West Point class of 1985. Thirteen years in the army puts him at 1998. This is three years later and cold outside, meaning it’s after 9-11-2001, and no mention. Well, maybe if you count the 4 years at West Point that puts you at 1995, plus 3 years and you are at 1998. Which makes the cell phone thing a bit off. Anyway, that’s my issue, not your average readers issue. Some of the military terms are way outdated.
I still loved the story. Really I did.

Reacher's anonymity in Florida is shattered by an investigator who's come looking for him. But hours after his arrival, the stranger is murdered. Retracing the PI's trail back to New York, Reacher's compelled to find out who was looking for him and why. He never expects the reasons to be so personal - and twisted.

Very entertaining Listen
Revisado: 12-19-23
Love the story, love the reader. Hate the bad military references. I would go in understanding that there are a lot of timeline inconsistencies and bad military references, but otherwise a good listen.

Historia
A young woman accuses a prominent local college athlete of rape. Convicted with the help of indisputable DNA evidence, the athlete swears his innocence and threatens both his lawyer and his accuser as he's sent to prison. Not long after, there's another rape, and the DNA test shows that the same person committed both rapes - which is seemingly impossible since the man convicted of the first rape was in prison at the time of the second one. Now, the convicted athlete, joined by a new lawyer, is granted a new trial and bail.

Glad to have Win back, with clever nods to Myron, Mickey, Ema, and El-Al. Good story, and a better performance. I hope there are more to

Great insights into what was going on in the minds of our female cadets back when we never gave it a second thought. Having been in Sue’s company, it was easy to get behind the main character. Great job! Big bites, Sue!

Great Listen, unless you went there, but still great
Revisado: 10-17-20
I was a plebe when Susan was a firstie, and was in her company. Was great to hear her tell the tale as someone I knew, but didn’t know yet. The story was great. The reader, didn’t get enough knowledge beforehand. She could have had a little coaching on some wording and pronunciation, but otherwise did a great job. Look forward to the entire series.

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby....
