This series is great fun and the reader is top notch. I know I will be waiting for a while now before book 9 can entertain me and that makes me sad!

This should be sold as a box set. Or at the very least two box sets.
Writer and narrator did a great job but it doesn’t match up to other book lengths for a full credit.

Again you pay a full credit for a short book

Good story and narration but expensive!

I am enjoying this story but I hate when a book is essentially segmented into pieces so the buyer has to use a credit or pay for each piece. A five and a half hour story for one credit seems a lot when most of my husbands books with other top authors and narrators are 10 to 20 hours for that same credit.

Don’t waste your credit

I have listened to the whole series but I couldn’t finish this one. These characters have had moments of being so ridiculous I skipped full chapters. So many gaping holes in the plot. So much embarrassingly stupid behaviour that just gets glossed over. I couldn’t do it.

Boring and predictable

I have enjoyed Sandra Brown novels. Just not this one. At one point my husband recited the lines as the narrator spoke them it was that predictable. The overall idea was good but this story could have happened in a three to four hour book.

Disappointed

Storey had lots of potential but the narrator and production was terrible.

Hopefully the next book in the series will be better.

Highly entertaining book!

Have you listened to any of Katherine Kellgren’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first listen to KK, and I was very impressed. Sadly the rest of the series used other readers so I will not be buying those books in audible form. I have read other comments on how the different narrators did not measure up and I would rather not be disappointed as I was so entertained by this reading.

Any additional comments?

I can honestly say the story was great, but that I am not sure if it was great because of the narrator, or if it would have still been great without her. I suspect the narrator made this book.
