Overdone
Revisado: 06-22-17
Terribly exaggerated narration distracting. Lots of twists, almost too many, convoluted. Would not recommend narrator or author.

Great back story
Revisado: 10-18-15
Fun to get Wes Farrell ' s back story. Many of the later novels refer to this. Dismas Hardy doesn't appear in this book. Abe Glitsky's wife Flo is in this story also.

Historia
After the New York grand jury indicts the national presidential campaign chairman and the NSA spymaster for the murder of the CIA chief, Karp engages in an unforgettable courtroom confrontation with the defendants who have the full weight of the US administration, a hostile judge, and a compliant media supporting them. These sinister forces will stop at nothing to prevent Karp from bringing out the truth, even if they have to resort to murder.

Full of political commentary to point of distracti
Revisado: 10-11-15
Couldn't stand to listen to this, it is so full snarky political jibes and opinions. I used to love the Butch Karp series, but now the stories take such a back seat to the political and social commentary that it doesn't even seem like a novel. I feel like I'm listening to a rant on a right wing talk show instead of an actual Butch Karp novel. Very frustrated! I knew Tannenbaum ' s books had gotten like this, but when listening it's just too distracting and infuriating.
