Revisado: 05-14-21
This book broke into the foundation of the Masculine and Feminine roles, morals, and basis. I highly recommend this book to every single man or masculine dominant person, along with anyone else lol. We all need to look through other's eyes and walk in their shoes. This book underlines so many modern-day issues in our society and removes stigmas and misinterpreted meanings. Helps allow us to become closer to our partners with a higher understanding of love, patience, and respect.

I listened to Truth and Beauty that unfolds the life of the beautiful Lucy Grealy, her closest and most dear friend, and directly after that I listened to Autobiography Of A Face by Lucy...all three phenomenally written and expressed.
I would definitely consider these books a three part series. If you listen to one, listen to the others.

Revisado: 04-16-21
I found this book extremely intellectual. I'll be honest, probably the hardest book to get through in my 60+ Audible collection. I adore the theory of "Nature Selection" it is very intriguing to me. I love his development of "memes" as well. His book shows high quality and this revised edition proves to me, (personally) that the idea of evolution is ever evolving (pun intended). I love expanding my knowledge on others views.

Historia
Most of us have instinctive evidence the world is ending - balmy December days, face-to-face conversation replaced with heads-to-screens zomboidism, a world at constant war, a political system in disarray. We hear some myths and lies so frequently that they feel like truths: Civilization is humankind’s greatest accomplishment. Progress is undeniable. Count your blessings. You’re lucky to be alive here and now. Civilized to Death counters the idea that progress is inherently good, arguing that the "progress" defining our age is analogous to an advancing disease.
