Soon, it is clear that Edmond has been framed by a handful of powerful enemies, jealous of his success.

Simon Carrow's narration is so excellent. His rendering of Lucy's cry - 'Weep for it' is worth listening to the entire book. a masterful performance.

I found it difficult to appreciate this classic but the performance makes it worth listening to and definitely better than reading the book. Voices of Quixote and sancho ponza excellent - one of the best narrations I've heard

Historia
An espionage thriller that has been called the first great spy novel, it has sustained its popularity, being embraced by each new generation. The first in a series of five novels it features the spy Richard Hannay, an action hero with a stiff upper lip who gets caught up in a dangerous race against a plot by German spies to destroy the British war effort. When Richard Hannay offers sanctuary to an American agent seeking his help in stopping a political assassination, he takes the first step on a trail of peril and espionage.

Historia
The famous Middle English poem by an anonymous Northern England poet is beautifully translated by fellow poet Simon Armitage in this edition. "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" narrates in crystalline verse the strange tale of a green knight who rudely interrupts the Round Table festivities one Yuletide, casting a pall of unease over the company and challenging one of their number to a wager.

Historia
When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity. Cloning, feel-good drugs, anti-aging programs, and total social control through politics, programming, and media: has Aldous Huxley accurately predicted our future? With a storyteller's genius, he weaves these ethical controversies in a compelling narrative that dawns in the year 632 A.F. (After Ford, the deity). When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.

Great story and narration. Never realized the savage spoke according to his knowledge of Shakespeare from the one book he had access to. His quotations and applications to events made this book very enjoyable for me.
