Historia
My family was never supposed to meet my fake fiancee. Except she just walked into my hospital room, looking just as surprised as I am. All because of one white lie. They think we’ve been together for a year, but I only met her last night. I panicked after my father didn’t name me as the next CEO of our family’s billion-dollar company. His reasoning was that “I care *too* much about work”. In fact, the whole small town we live in thinks I’m too rigid and too serious.

Narrators made the story 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Whoever chose the narrators did a great job, I’m glad they went with separate male narrator because it made the story so much more immersive.
About the story: sad at the start, but you see Ivy grow as person as the story progresses. Leo is emotionally mature and supportive of Ivy’s goals. Leo also matures as a character and responds well to Ivy’s encouragement and feedback and is able to attain his goals, no matter how underhanded his method was at the beginning. As with all romance books, there’s a satisfying HEA. What I love about this ending is that there’s no mention of the couple’s children, and now that I think of it, everyone in the story is an adult, which is EXCELLENT.
