The stories were good but...

They rarely had a satisfactory ending, so I was left hanging 99% of the time, which was incredibly frustrating. I kept listening to it in hopes that the last story somehow tied it all together. It didn’t. It ended with a great story that had a satisfactory ending. However, I have never dreaded listening to a book more than I have this one. If there were satisfactory endings it would have been a really good book.

If you mixed Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal skull with Mormons who are like the illuminati and Mormon illuminati-ish that are also Nazis, you’ll have a basic gist of what this is like. Very basic. There’s so much to it that grips you and makes it hard to let go.
The only downside are the few small and short skips in the audio. They are inconsequential.

How is this book not better known!? Mysterious is right, along with intriguing. It is 19 hours long, so no surprise, there are some parts that lag and might be considered boring. It’s a mix between ‘Can’t fall asleep because I want to know what happens next, and I don’t think I missed much when I fell asleep for half an hour. It’s full of conveniences for the “castaways”. Sometimes I found it annoying but it’s also what makes it mysterious. The answers to some of these conveniences was NOT expected. You don’t find out till the very end.
I’m so glad I got this!
