Honestly this is one of the best books I have ever read. It's basically a step by step guide on overcomeing social anxiety. Yes, you still have to actually do the activities in here, but it's all laid out for you. I think this is an excellent book for someone who is trying to figure out why they have these problems and what they can do about it on a deep level.

Good overview of AI's implications for society

This isn't a technical book. It's a very high level survey of how AI is changing our world and the major countries and corporations involved. If you know nothing about AI, you will learn the basics about the technology, but if you are looking for a deep dive into neural networks, machine learning, and algorithms, you won't find much more than a taste of the basics here. That being said, it was an enjoyable listen.

Amazing look at creative machine intelligence!

From Mathematics to board games, to music and even painting, AI is overtaking human creativity. The author, a (a mathematician himself) explorers the frontiers of the AI Revolution, even exploring whether mathematicians themselves will soon be out of a job. Highly recommend for anyone interested in the limits of human creativity and machine intelligence.

This is one of those books that explains history so well that it may actually change the future. If you want to know who human beings are, where we came from, and what it all means then read this book.

The book is great, the narrator, not so much

The person reading this book is just not that great. He reads pretty fast and doesn't change his voice or pase as he goes, making it difficult to focus on what's being said. The fact that this is quite a technical book makes the bad narration even more consequential. Note: playing the audio book at 85x the speed makes it sound a little bit better.

An excellent summary of obesity research

the book talks a lot about obesity research and the researchers involved in it. I would recommend this book most to someone who is interested in what the research says about the causes of obesity.

Amazingly well written and well explained

Yang uses data and common sense to defend social democracy. He lays out the problems with the current economic model and proposes solutions like medacare for all, social currencies, and of course, universal basic income (UBI). His common sense approach is characteristic of an entrepreneur and he defends his solutions in a novel but compelling way. This is a must read for anyone who cares about the future of our country.
