A fantastic adventure

I've just discovered Ms. Carriger's work, and I'm going through the series as quickly as I can now. The series is a bit outside the genres I'm used to, but I am loving it. The characters are funny, and relatable and adventurous. The story is interesting, and the world is quite unlike anything I've previously read. Onto book 3, I can't wait!

Absolutely Delightful

First of all, Scott Aiello's performance was flawless. Sherman and Watson truly come to life, and their interactions had me laughing out loud. And some parts, I cannot imagine how he was able to do a straight performance.
Of course, Drew Hayes has written another absolute gem. This story was so funny, the first time I've used my audible bookmarks. It was also intriguing and exciting as the pair dealt with each new obstacle, with a dose of heartfelt warmth bringing it all together. I can't wait to continue on this journey with Sherman and Watson.

The story really hooked me

I was initially a little put off by some of the characters' sexism and dickishness. Just not usually my personal taste in humor. But I found a lot of the side characters interesting and funny, ultimately I couldn't put it down. The adventures are wacky and many of the relationships and new super-beings were surprising and exciting.
The narration was simply ok. There were several times it was impossible to tell which character was supposed to be speaking, or it would sound like someone new altogether, just to end up being Bill starting a new chapter.

This was a really exciting story to listen to. The family dynamic is a lot of fun, and the main character is tough and doesn't take any crap. The first Rick Gualtieri book I've read, and I can wait to read more.

Action Packed

I love this series, and everything by this author. This book felt like there was a considerably more fight scenes and action, which is fine.
However, I really enjoyed the story and where it's going. Each of the characters has a really interesting story going on that I cannot wait to find out what comes next. As well as the real world group, I can't wait to see where they end up.
