I want to love this

This is a story of female acquiesces. It will resonate with most. However, if a man disregards you to this point it is abuse. There is so much blatant disregard for his wife that I am infuriated. Subterfuge used in this way is disgusting. I don't know if this is what the author is trying to illicit. Love doesn't look like this.

I love the writer's perspective of both. However as soon as someone disregards your skills, your opinion, your sacrifice and chooses to lie and ignore your well thought logic as a woman or a partner it means that they don't see you as a person, not human but as a dependent they need to protect.

I love the author's writing, but(trigger warning) this is not love. This is abuse and betrayal in the worst (with out physical violence) possible way.

Mad love to the writer. You did this so well that I am still listening though I hate Greg.

This may be more of a trigger warning than an advice to forgoe the book.

It's a charasmatic male who subjugated a female and turned her into an object.

The author is awesome, as are the narrators, but this is not a healthy display of love.

Thank you for your writing. I just want readers to know this is not romantic, respectful or remotely healthy.

I really want to like this, but....

I love the writing. the character development is fantastic, quick-witted and super engaging. The narrator is fantastic! the voices are solid she does all the right inflections and the pros coupled with the narrator make me laugh out loud.

however, the main love interest does some pretty unforgivable things. Zara forgives him without question. I can't reconcile the strong female lead that she is in nearly every other facet with the person who allows someone to lie manipulate her and her family to such an extent. the main character is supposed to be intelligent and strong. in most facets of her life she is. I just can't do any more females who let men walk all over them and give them no accountability. I had to stop with only 2 hours left in this book.

if you can deal with blatant misogyny that has been accepted with no enemy from the main female lead listen to this book! it really is great. I just can't get past a character who is absolutely thoroughly self-centered self-serving and then blames other people for his actions. It's despicable. To have a strong female than just accept it is too much.

I can't even deal with the "counseling"perspective. this is absolutely selfish, awful, and terrible

how dare the sister psychiatrist force the mc to go through this.

an adult is ALWAYS at fault.

good distraction from mundane reality. worth the time and enjoyed the ( predictable) fairy tale twists.
