Historia
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Satisfying Conclusion
Revisado: 01-01-25
As always, Sanderson delivered. This is the kind of book you need to read more than once to catch all of the details. We got some very satisfying answers to questions we've been asking, and he's left more than enough threads to pickup on in book 6. In like 20 years.

Dark, Unique, and Epic
Revisado: 05-19-22
I started reading the first book about a year ago, bit didn't finish it. Recently I decided to come back to it, and I'm glad I did. This story gets better as it goes, building, evolving, and surprising you along the way. I think Richard Nell has a bright future in this Genre, and I am really looking forward to his next project. Hopefully, whatever it is, Ralph Lister does the narration on it too, because he is truly a master.

Historia
The second novel in the wildly popular First Law Trilogy from New York Times best seller Joe Abercrombie. Superior Glokta has a problem. How do you defend a city surrounded by enemies and riddled with traitors, when your allies can by no means be trusted, and your predecessor vanished without a trace? It's enough to make a torturer want to run - if he could even walk without a stick. Northmen have spilled over the border of Angland and are spreading fire and death across the frozen country. Crown Prince Ladisla is poised to drive them back and win undying glory.

Historia
Vaelin Al Sorna was known across the realm as the greatest of warriors, but he thought battles were behind him. He was wrong. Prophecy and rumor led him across the sea to find a woman he once loved, and drew him into a war waged by the Darkblade, a man who believes himself a god - and one who has gathered a fanatical army that threatens all of the known world.

Fast paced and Exciting, Very entertaining.
Revisado: 08-14-20
This one was highly anticipated by me, and overall it delivered. I had difficult capturing all the nuances at times, there are quite a few locations this story moves through, and it can get confusing at times. Having the map from the text copy helps. Also, I enjoy the sound of Brands warm husky voice, there's not a lot of differentiation between characters. I'm curious to see where this story goes with the next book as it does come to somewhat of an (apparent) conclusion at the end of this one. I'm sure Ryan has plenty up his sleeve.
