Too much description not enough story

Skip this and try Small Gods or Going Postal. Far better stories there. This one is too forced on funny descriptions and I was bored by the story and characters. Strong first chapter then downhill

Excellent book

I enjoyed reading the book and am now loving the audiobook. The glossary provides short excerpts on topics like anxiety, communication, giving, meditation, perspective, and many more. Many of the thoughtful descriptions resonated with me and I find myself going back to re-read my favorite parts. The audiobook is extremely well read by the author and provides me with a refresher of the ideas described. The ideas are respectively presented and thought provoking without the author "pushing" any agenda. Would highly recommend.

Terrible ending

This book starts off slowly but becomes increasingly interesting. The language used is very beautiful and some of the ideas are interesting and thought provoking. I was ready to recommend the book to my friends and then I listened to the ending.
I obviously will not describe what happens, but I have no idea why the author took this direction at the end and managed to spoil the whole experience for me.
