I miss abridged, Christopher Graybill, and the awesome sound effects from the 90’s… the books were so much more enjoyable.

The unabridged is great, but...

I prefer the abridged version. The narrator is incredible and I’ve been a fan of his for years. I also don’t want to have to break up a 15 hour audiobook over days... 4ush hour’s is enough to get the main points and feel like I’m listening to a movie. Don’t get me wrong: I love the full unabridged story. But sometimes I just want a quickie story and don’t need to know what color a character’s sneakers are.

Abridged is better

I’ve loved this trilogy since it first came out, and listen to the stories from time to time. Great story, Fett is given his due. Voice acting is excellent. K.W. Jeter is a phenomenal writer! I wish more Star Wars books were abridged, I don’t want to be stuck on an 11-14 hour long story for 2 weeks listening to them when I can find the time.

Not funny at all

I bought this after seeing other reviews about how funny a story this would be. It was poorly read and written. Luckily it only cost me about $2. Too bad though, that $2 could have bought a powerball ticket or a candy bar instead. If audible will publish this garbage, then I guess I have a chance at making money writing my own fiction!

Not bad but could have been better

The narrator should have gotten a a few more books under her belt before reading for such a big name series. Either that or the production was rushed and she did the best she could. The story was great, but the performance and editing was a distraction. Not the worst audiobook ever, but it certainly wasn't up to the usual standard.

I don't know why people complain about the abridged versions... There's less repetitively boring detail, and it flows better, almost like you are watching a Star Wars movie.

Smuggler's Blues indeed

Great story, and Narrator was phenomenal! Couldn't stop listening and while I'm on the right side of the law, the real life account definitely sang a siren's song of money and good living. The epilogue, however... Seemed kind of , well, without ruining it... It's easy for him to say what he says when he was worth millions. Anyway, highly recommend this title whether you are clean like me or into the trade.
