I have to admit I was a little bit wary about this book after as it was put out so long after the others. I have fond memories of the first books in the series not only reading them myself but sharing them with my little nieces and nephews that I was afraid that this one would not live up the rest of the series. But this one does not disappoint !

Simply fantastic. I love the fact that he can spin a story in such a way that almost makes me palpably worried for my favorite characters when they're in danger. I also enjoy the fact that for the most part his mythology is completely accurate it makes his books not only fully enjoyable but a bit of a learning experience.

I have to admit the other reviews gave me a little bit of pause before I bought this one to listen to. I would have to say that epic fantasy is my favorite genre of literature and this one was a delightful addition to the titles that I will happily recommend to my friends.
The ending that came with a surprise that was a delightful twist and not one that I saw coming and I can't wait for the next one which I think is out in print and hopefully will be available on Audible soon!
