Really Stupid Story Don't Waste Your Time

First this woman pretends to be independent but she is just not comfortable in her own skin. If she was going to prostitute herself why didn't she get more out of it. The student loans and house were probably only worth 5% of his net worth. She should have insisted on getting 35% of his net worth for selling 5 sexless years of her life. Then she insisted on paying for things that he should have and was willing to. Also character counts so many times its annoying. UPDATE The last 3rd of the book gets better.

Good Introduction to the Topic

Good for parents and those cooking for children. Nice to learn how to get children to eat well. Not enough on how to heal the gut and build a healthy gut biome but it gives ideas on the why things are problem, biggest food that causes problem. Definitely read if you can stream or it's included in the audible unlimited reading section.

Carelessly Written

Major holes in the plot and couldn't even finish the second book in the series. I wanted to like the story because of the description but for such a smart "heroine" she sure made a lot of careless mistakes that someone growing up the way she did would surely have known. Find another series. This author is really depraved. I have read BDSM books where it is just the sexual aspect of it this guy for cable slaved her. Threatened to kill her. This book has multiple RAPE scenes.

Really stupid book not worth it

This book had s stupid premise. Celia held prisoner did nothing to extricate herself. She could have burned the house down so firemen would come. She could have stabbed one of the servants forcing him or her to take her to the island so they wouldn't hold her captive. For someone who in the first book was said to be so smart why didn't she change her will before marriage so no matter what happened her husband would never have the shares of her father's company. Really disappointed. Don't read.

Best Nutrition Book I Every Read.

I bought all 3 of his books from audible. I learned from each and I have been studying nutrition for years and still learned a lot. You have to read this book. I already started having collards multiple times a week in my salad, I daily take black cumin seed and tumeric, I follow the daily dozen. This is a life changing book. Now I want to go buy his cookbook from Barnes and Noble. Good narrator.

Teaches a lot but ....

I am a huge fan of Gail Vaz Oxlade. I watched her shows and listed to many interviews and read at least 3 books by her. However as a US reader there were parts of tgis book may be 20% that was focused on Canadian laws so be aware. The basic knowledge was great but when added in with all of the Canadian laws she should have added 2 chapters and said this is what my US readers need to know about taxes, health care, and education. Even with this she is still way way better than Suze Orman, Dave Ramsey, and somewhat better than David Bach.

Interesting book and very relevant

Like most Caroline B Cooney books toy finish it ans feel satisfied. This story took place in 1997 but is relevant in 2020. It is a timely YA novel about growing up, discoverying oneself, and your place in the world. You can see how these events changed her and brings you back to that moment when you realized that how you were raised was wrong or those you admired were not to be admired. I reccomend this story. Good narrator.

Good. Not worth a Credit but Interesting if Stream

Enjoyed the sci-fi. I liked the heroine and the main guy. It needed more detail on the other characters. Mostly plot driven. We no little about any of the other two characters. It lacked detail on the test and what others were experiencing across the world. I was annoyed by the readers accent it didn't for the story. Need a better narrator.

We don't know how many humans survive what life is like on the other planet. How many men and women (even numbers or disballanced). What happened back on Earth after it all went down.

Not a good finance book

Not much content. The experts are not experts, she calls her mom a cooking, homemaking, and handyperson expert. Author puts recipes in the book and all but one are bad. She also discusses religion. Yes cooking can save you money but about 1/3 of this was wasted time. It sounds like a blog not a book. Author did not spend enough time polishing it. Try Gail Vaz Oxlade to learn about budgeting, investing, and getting out of debt. Don't buy this book.
