Historia
Two spellbinding mysteries, one contemporary, and one ancient - that will challenge Superintendent Duncan Kincaid and Gemma James as no case ever has. Glastonbury is a town revered as the mythical burial place of King Arthur, and, according to New Age followers, a source of strong Druid power. Something terrible and bloody shattered Glastonbury Abbey's peace long ago - and now it is about to spark a violence that will reach forward into the present.

Not my favorite in this series
Revisado: 06-14-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This book spent a lot of time on new age practices (automatic writing, communication with the dead...). It seemed to drag on. I only made it through the first few chapters.
What could Deborah Crombie have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I think many people would enjoy this book, the subject matter was not appealing to me.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Deborah Crombie is an amazing writer. I think if you were interested in the subject matter, you would enjoy this book. As always, Crombie does an excellent job developing her characters. However, in this book, I never made it to my favorite characters, Kincaid and Gemma.

Historia
Faith Fairchild turns back the clock to one of the most momentous events of her life: her wedding day. It's 1990, and Faith Sibley is a single young woman with her own catering business in New York City. But a chance meeting with the Reverend Thomas Fairchild is love at first sight, and suddenly Faith is heading north to visit her future in-laws, some of whom are as frosty as a New England winter. Before she can say "I do," two mysteries divert the bride-to-be's attention....

One of my favorite mystery series
Revisado: 06-07-12
This prequel to the 20 Faith Fairchild mysteries does a wonderful job of letting you know the character before she left New York City for married life in small town Massachusetts. The narrator does an excellent job portraying Faith Fairchild. I found the story very suspenseful and I loved learning all the details of Faith's pre-Massachusetts days. If you are a fan of the "cozy" mystery genre, this series is for you.

Historia
Few books besides the Bible have been translated, printed, and read as often as The Pilgrim's Progress. John Bunyan's classic allegory of Christian, the Pilgrim, on his perilous journey to the Celestial City has touched hearts and minds for more than 300 years, and still the demand continues.

Excellent book!!!
Revisado: 01-29-11
This has been one of the best books I have listened to on Audible. The reader is excellent and really brings this timeless story to life. I have read other adaptations of this book, and this is my favorite translation. As a Christian, this book truly brings my faith to life.
