Historia
Evie Sage has never been happier to be the assistant to The Villain. Who would have thought that working for an outrageously handsome, evil overlord would be so rewarding? Still, the business of being bad is demanding, the forces of good are annoyingly persistent, and said forbidding boss is somewhat . . . out-of-evil-office. But Rennedawn is in trouble, and all signs—Kingsley's included—point to catastrophe. Something peculiar is happening with the kingdom's magic, and it's made The Villain's manor vulnerable to their enemies . . . including their nemesis, the king.

Second book did not disappoint
Revisado: 11-16-24
The second book in this series did not disappoint, and the plot thickens. My only complaint was that I could pretty easily deduct big parts of the ending before the end. Which is not necessarily bad, it means we were given a lots of small hints and if you did spot them then you could find out some parts of the ending.

Twenty-four-year-old Saeris Fane is good at keeping secrets. But a secret is like a knot. Sooner or later, it is bound to come undone. When Saeris comes face-to-face with Death himself, she inadvertently reopens a gateway between realms and is transported to a land of ice and snow. The Fae have always been the stuff of myth, of legend, of nightmares… but it turns out they're real.

An amazing audiobook
Revisado: 11-03-24
The preformane of the narrators was stellar. And the story is absolutely amazing. Well worth the 1 credit it did cost to get it. And worth the wait.

Loved the story
Revisado: 10-18-24
I loved the 4 sisters and how they all are so very different but still are alike. I like their chemistry and how they protect each other. I also really like the paranormal world and how it all works, can’t wait to find out more about the world and the creatures in it

The end is so good

I liked the start of the book, and the middle was decent written but with the narrators I did not like as much, that part was hard to get through. But the end was amazing and worth the slower middle part

Historia
Intimate, moving, virtuosic, and hilarious, Tayi Tibble is one of the most exciting new voices in poetry today. In Poūkahangatus (pronounced “Pocahontas”), her debut volume, Tibble challenges a dazzling array of mythologies—Greek, Māori, feminist, kiwi—peeling them apart, respinning them in modern terms.

It was not well written
Revisado: 08-19-24
When it comes to poems, I think they should have a really good writing in addition to what they try to convey. This poem had some good meaning behind them but poorly written and preformed. So I really did not like it.

Historia
I'm not so different from most people. Like everyone else, I have life goals. Goal #1: Become a real girl instead of this invisible ghost thing I currently am. Goal #2: Convince the four men I've been haunting for the past five years to pick me to be their new toy after goal one is complete. Goal #3: Figure out who/what I am and why I can't remember anything past the five years I've been haunting this quad. Goal #4: Eat popcorn. See? Perfectly normal. Sort of. Gotta start small, after all. It's not like anyone else is perfect either.

Could not put it down!
Revisado: 04-04-24
The writing is really good, it has an intriguing story and mechanics. Characters with depth that slowly is revealed, also good personal growth on the main female character. To top if of with a cherry on top, it is filled with humor, excitement and constant curiosity that keeps you wanting more.
Cannot wait to read/listen to the rest of this series.
Narrator is a good fit for the all the characters.
If you you like a book with some good action, sass and funny banter you definitely need to try this one out. I love all of those things and could not put it down even for a second.

Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Impossible to put down.
Revisado: 03-13-24
This book has it all, amazing world and magic, incredible characters and growth of the main characters. It is an emotional rollercoaster it’s funny, heartbreaking, heartwarming and thrilling. After a big event it does not take long before the book is keeping you on the edge of your seat. Amazing writing, I also did think the narrator was perfect for the different characters. I can only think of one fault about the book, and that there is never a good time to put it down, so forget to find a good time to sleep and do other human activities you have to do in a day. Because this book is impossible to put down.
The world building is done in a very natural way, and also other stuff that needs to be explained in great detail. So it never gets boring, and spread out so you don’t read 3 chapters just so you can get to the actual story. So even for people that are not into fantasy can really enjoy this book. It’s a book for everyone that likes a good well written story that are above the age of 15. There is some spice so should not be read by children. My favorite read/listen this year. Can’t wait to re-read this book and start the next

After the end of book 1, I did not think this book would be any good. But it turned around and was pretty good. For me there where a few cringy-moments. If you did like the first book, you definitely should read this also.
