Maya Amir of Washington, D.C. is having a bad day. Her family visiting from out of town have taken over her room, and worst of all, an annoying classmate has taken over the Environmental Club but doesn't seem to care about the environment the way Maya does. Then Maya receives a mysterious, magic bracelet in the mail from Lucy, a girl in Fort Worth, Texas, who had the bracelet last time. The bracelet grants wishes and Maya is having a hard time deciding what to wish for.

Lucy Usathorn of Fort Worth, Texas is super excited for her class trip to the Natural History Museum, where her dad works. Sure, Ms. Brock, the strict school librarian who happens to be dating Lucy's dad (awkward) is chaperoning, but it'll still be the best day ever, right? Wrong! Lucy has to watch in shock and humiliation as her dad proposes to Ms. Brock. Lucy is distraught. If only she could do this whole day over from scratch . . .

Ten-year-old Addie Asante of Columbus, Ohio, is sick of being the middle sister. Her big sister, Sophie, can do whatever she wants, and her little sister, Camille, is totally spoiled. When Addie receives a mysterious box in the mail containing a magical bracelet--and a note from a girl in New York named Becca--she's intrigued. Abby and Jonah are at home with Jonah's friends and their fairy friend, Maryrose, when they receive a visit from another fairy—a famous one. It's Tinkerbell! This time, the magic mirror (with a little help from the magical fairy, Maryrose) sends Abby and Jonah into the story of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. And they have a task: Find the enchanted ruby and bring it back to help Maryrose. But to do so, Abby and Jonah must follow the 12 sisters from their palace to the secret spot where they go dancing. Abby and Jonah will have to learn some moves of their own - and dancing isn't easy when you don't know the steps!
