Historia
Logan Morrison always fought for everything he had, but it never was much. Growing up truly alone did that to you. One day, when taking on an extra tutoring gig to help out a cute chick with a quirky name, she ends up bringing him back to her place. Cool, right? Well, the next morning, Logan wakes up in chains and comes to learn that Cherry Cola is one beautiful and unhinged monster girl member out of three in a small Fresco City witch coven. Their plans for him? Servitude.

Aurora Bliss's performance is just 🤌
Revisado: 10-16-24
Don't get me wrong, Johnathan Waters did great, as well, but Aurora Bliss put so much into this and you can tell. The voices actually made me love the characters. I mean, heck, even the moans were great, and most of the time with audiobooks, a character moaning or grunting really brings you out of it for being silly. The story was great, but sometimes it got weird.

Barrett Bradshaw was always a bookworm, but no amount of reading would prepare him for his childhood crush turning him into a vampire. Even more absurd, it turns out that he was never fully human at all.

Classic vampires with a twist
Revisado: 10-13-24
SPOILERS! I love the premise of Dracula and another vampire deciding to make half vampire hybrids. I also love the idea of them making a school for them. The first two books were amazing. The problem was the third one. The introduction of futuristic soldiers killed it for me. It would have been fine if a god's heroes decided to invade but soldiers with tech 1000s of years ahead just doesn't mix well with everything else. That and multiverse has been done so many times I groaned when they mentioned it.

Historia
Ataegina was an isolated world of medieval castles, varied cultures, and conquests, vibrant until the demons rose and spread relentless destruction. Swarms of lethal creatures with black husks, murderous claws, barbed tails, and dreaded “tooth-tongues” raged through the lowlands, killing 90 percent of the planet’s population. Terrified survivors fled to hidden mountain keeps where they eke out a meager existence. When a trio of young warriors discovers a new weapon, they see a chance to end this curse. To save humanity, they must fight.

Best Audiobook I've listened to
Revisado: 07-20-24
The performance was amazing, the story was attention grabbing, and the lore was spot on. I loved the entirety of this book. I love the Alien franchise but I also love medieval and Greek history. To see these three mix into a thriller for the ages was jaw dropping. Sure, it leaned a lot on the "women can do anything a man can do" but they did it in a way that still made sense. Sure, a woman can fight, but she wouldn't be able to hold a shield for as long. Stuff like that. If you have any credits, spend it on this. You WILL NOT regret it.

In the aftermath, monsters roam the Earth while humanity is forced into a few small safe zones, but not all is lost. When the shadows fell, so too did hope. Lots of boob
Revisado: 07-18-24
I really wanted to like this series. The premise of civilization being contained in cities with heroes that has to work together to be powerful was awesome. It wasn't so much as a cultivation story, which I am seriously getting annoyed of all of these being like that, so it was a nice change of pace.
The problem lies in the System AI in his head. Every 15 or so chapters, it does an entire chapter solely on his new stats and RE-EXPLAINING the system. You can imagine how annoying that gets after four times. It also gets really annoying how much he complains about having to bond with literal goddesses who want nothing more than to be with him and dote over him. Sure, it's funny when he breaks the fourth wall and pokes fun at it, but after so much flip flopping, he BARELY bonds with one.
I felt that his indecision really shouldn't have been a problem. I mean the guy takes out a street gang without any weapons. He also responded really quickly to different problems in simulations. There's no way someone who can think quick on their feet would be so indecisive about who he was going to "bond" with. The guy is able to bond with six of the elements' girls. Just grab the ones that have a good personality and move on.
The performance of the voice actors was amazing. Jonathan Walters was great, as always. Maive was great too. The way they would change with each character wasn't just changing tones but accents and fluidity as well. I mean, she would change from a posh rich girl to a smart Indian woman at a drop of a dime. I loved that. It's just too bad the story got repetitive. Complain, BJ. Complain, fight. Complain, fight. Complain, BJ. Complain, fight. Complain, finally bonding. Then more complaining.

Narcissistic A-hole
Revisado: 08-10-23
I loved this book for a while up until he began taking more girls in who wanted marriage and kids then telling them "No, you're mine but I'm not yours. Accept it bitch." There are plenty of ways to do a medieval-fantasy world where women aren't as equal to men. This is seriously not it. Treating every single woman as a toy instead of a person then turning around and saying your sister and mother are high in status is bull.
Look, if you're into the whole "girls are trash, they have no say nor deserve affection and men own them" crap then this is for you. But if you're like me and just want a regular harem fantasy where the protagonist actually cares about his women and wants to marry them, steer clear. Also, if youre going to make your protagonist treat women like toys and not actual people, be consistent. A person like that wouldn't save poor people or give to charity because they feel bad for them. They'd only do it for public image.
One last thing too. If it's so secretive and they told him not to tell people, maybe don't bring in randos constantly like a sister's friend who has ZERO relations to the man. "Here's an NDA don't tell people." Proceeds to tell his sister, her friend, his dad, and mom. Yeah. Totally a planner.

One minute I’m in a tree, pointing my camera at a tiger, the next I’m on my back in a medieval fantasy world, while a skittish blonde hovers over me, hoping I’m not dead. I’ve never felt more alive.

Honestly, I loved it until he became entitled to every girl in existence. Then he just became weird. "You'll do this." or "You'll do that for me because I said so." Sometimes he would be like a real person, one you could relate to. Then he would switch to some sort of rich guy need it all. He yells at queens and thinks he can just get away with it because he's from a different world. After he gets 3 girls, he becomes so two faced it makes Harvey Dent look like a sane person. Sometimes he's romantic and loves his girls, and then suddenly he flips and thinks he is entitled to any girl he wants just because they're vulnerable. The guy just thinks he can make a girl do anything he wants, even when they're royalty or WAY more powerful than he is. I will say though, the voice actors are amazing. Especially Faye Bishop. You know EXACTLY who is talking of the girls.
