Historia
Princess Natasia is the eldest child of the Emperor Andreth, ruler of the Four Realms. If she was a boy, she’d be the unquestioned heir to the throne. But as a girl, her main duty in life is to marry someone her father can shape into his successor. Everything changes when an unknown, would-be assassin nearly takes Tasia’s life. Someone wants to destabilize the Empire - but who? Unsure of whom he can trust, the Emperor realizes that his daughter might be his best option for an heir.

I didn't know I needed this in my life
Revisado: 12-08-19
On her blog, Eliza Andrews describes Princess of Dorsa as 'Game of Thrones with lesbians'. She's right in that her novel is epic fantasy with a complex, engaging plot and fantastic worldbuilding. Well, and the occasional scene that could steam dinner for four. Seriously though, Princess of Dorsa is a well-written, meaty listen that differs from Game of Thrones in one important way. Andrews outshines it in her characters. I cared. I felt that they could walk off the page and she had me in tears quite a few times. Not necessarily with sadness, but because Andrews created a world and characters that I could care about. Their triumphs. Their defeats. Their evolution. I cannot wait for Soldier of Dorsa, and Empress of Dorsa. I hope Andrews keeps writing forever.

Historia
Princess Esofi of Rhodia and Crown Prince Albion of Ieflaria have been betrothed since they were children but have never met. At age 17, Esofi’s journey to Ieflaria is not for the wedding she always expected but instead to offer condolences on the death of her would-be husband. But Ieflaria is desperately in need of help from Rhodia for their dragon problem, so Esofi is offered a new betrothal to Prince Albion’s younger sister, the new Crown Princess Adale.

No Pillow Princesses here!
Revisado: 11-01-19
An excellent story! I cried, and the characters feel like they develop in a real way. Their relationships, except for a couple of moments, feel like they develop in a real way.
There were a couple of issues with audio editing and recording, but otherwise is read excellently
