Finally a series to rival the works of Sanderson and Jordan.

Great world, very earthlike but for the fact that there are 1000 different worlds all connected through magical channels only to be traversed by a magic user using one of 5 types of magic. Epic build, setting up what is sure to be a great series.

After reading everything out before her death, I would still suggest this series to anyone, even though it may never be completed. her assistant is working on sequels.

A great blend of racial, social, and labor history

Labor struggles and race struggles are all the same fight. that is the key underlying point here and there are many examples of how people of color have been leading the way in labor relations. So many times people of color have been on the right side of History. No matter your race, this is a great text.
