Homeless couple Isaac Newton and his girlfriend both harbor secrets. Felt like I was right there in the small town watching the story play out!

This story is about a young couple trying to make something of their new lives together in a small town. The male is a half breed which is like a human with wings and this part of his identity is kept secret. The secret does get out to the wrong people and I was on the edge of my seat following the couple through their new lives together, working new jobs, being in love, but in the background realizing that evil was lurking.
The authors way with words, made me feel like I was right there “watching” the couple progress in their relationship with each other and with other people in the town.
I definitely couldn’t predict the twists and turns that this story took and really enjoyed the ending!
I also really liked the narrator voice which sounded like someone from a small southern town.
