This is not a book for writing assistance

As a published author myself, this book was recommended to me. This should not be advertised by Amazon or Audible as a book to begin writing or further your craft. This book is about the author and what she considers to be the life of a writer. I know more about the author than I do writing now that I've listened. I don't really care to know what she wears when she sits down to write, that she likes to listen to people's conversations at restaurants, etc.
If writing is something that interests you, do not waste your time on this one. This book needs to be advertised differently.

Narrator totally sucks but good book

The story AND movie are both good. Although I prefer the movie. The narrator completely flops. She completely misses the mark making Elle seem like an air head. Also, her male voices are so difficult to distinguish that I dont always know which character is speaking.

Entertaining yet VERY ego driven

I really did enjoy hearing Corey Feldman read his book. I appreciated the private recollections of his life and even his "voices" when impersonating others. It really was a great book. Just cringe worthy to watch his ego at work when talking about how he saved this person or got that person a certain role.
I feel the book would have been just as great if not better if it didn't feel so forced.

I loved this story and had to force myself to pace slowly throughout the story so that I did not finish my readings within a day. I certainly could have. This narrative is thrilling and suspenseful from beginning to end. You certainly do not expect the ending, you see why it would make a wonderful film! Fantastic read!
