Historia
Aesop, an ancient Greek poet who was sold into slavery in the early sixth century B.C, relied on animal stories to convey his key points to his masters in court. Aesop's Fables are now classic, memorable morality plays in which amusing animal characters drive home thought-provoking morals to generations of listeners and modern day readers. They illustrate what was fundamental to Greek culture yet their appeal lies in logic we still understand.

Classic. Invaluable life lessons.

This is where most of your catchphrases and expressions come from. The narration is quite lively, and yet soothing enough to fall asleep to.

Historia
Around midnight, under a lonely streetlamp in a provincial town in Japan, lies a white woman, a blonde, alone, robbed of all four limbs yet undead. Indeed, a rumor's been circulating among the local girls that a vampire has come to their backwater, of all places. Koyomi Araragi, who prefers to avoid having friends because they'd lower his "intensity as a human", is naturally skeptical.

Good despite the tropes.
Revisado: 05-25-17
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The story was intriguing, and the characters were somewhat relatable. All in all it was like listening to an anime. That being said, it is awkward listening to in depth detail the typical anime trope of accidental skirt flipping, panty viewing and attempted boob grabbing. That was rather disappointing.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
The voice actors were amazing and really pulled you into the book... Some of the onomatopoeia didn't seem to fit the situation, but over-all well done.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The richness of the actor's voice as he read Oshino's lines were far superior to how I imagined him. Though the character himself is a bit silly, there seemed to be more depth in how he was reimagined by the actor.
Did KIZUMONOGATARI inspire you to do anything?
Watch an anime.
Any additional comments?
A fun listen for teens through adults.

Historia
The first four series of the original BBC Radio 4 fantastical drama series set in a world almost, but not quite, like our own. Paul Hilton stars as William Palmer, the immortal, reluctant and unthanked hero protecting mankind from an enemy they resist believing in: the Grey Folk. Thrilling, dark and contemporary, the dramas are set in a recognisable present day but one haunted by the folktales of the British Isles: drowned villages, changeling children, werewolves and unruly nature spirits.

Like a fantasy version of Doctor Who
Revisado: 06-09-16
Preformed by the BBC with a style reminiscent of old time radio shows. It's like The Shadow meets Dr. Who with a fantasy twist.
