This book makes you realize how thin the line of love can be and how strong. Worth the time. The characters are wonderful.

Wonderful book!!!
Revisado: 12-09-16
This book series is one of my favorites. I revisit this series every few years. The characters are so personal and well developed it feels like visiting your dearest friends.
It also helps to get me back to the crafting. Simply by immersing oneself in the descriptions which are so detailed will have you heading to the sewing basket.
Enjoy each book on its own or in order -you will not go wrong with these books!

Historia
Heavens to Betsy Devonshire! She never intended to get so caught up in this year's antique car race. But as sponsor of one of the entrants, she can't help but keep a close eye on the outcome - and it's not pretty. One of the drivers never makes it to the finish line. His car is found exploded in flames. Now Betsy and her crafty friends must determine if it was an accident or the work of a jealous competitor. The answer may be in a piece of needlework, but pinning down a suspect won't be easy....

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

This really makes you think about what could happen and how much we are truly tied to the big infrastructure. The characters are real, you feel the emotion and get caught up easily. Well worth a credit.

Once again Scott Brick gives a great performance in the narration of the book. I appreciate the effort he gives in creating a voice for each character.
