Historia
In 1922, Count Alexander Rostov is deemed an unrepentant aristocrat by a Bolshevik tribunal, and is sentenced to house arrest in the Metropol, a grand hotel across the street from the Kremlin. Rostov, an indomitable man of erudition and wit, has never worked a day in his life, and must now live in an attic room while some of the most tumultuous decades in Russian history are unfolding outside the hotel’s doors. Unexpectedly, his reduced circumstances provide him entry into a much larger world of emotional discovery.

Subtle learned beautiful language

The reader is great but for not having taken the simple obvious step of asking any native Russian speaker for the proper pronunciation of the proper nouns.

Historia
Jocelyn Rhodes is a single mother with a demanding career and a long-neglected libido. Frustrated with the dating scene and way overdue for some satisfying sex, she takes a friend's advice and hires Sabian, a deliciously sexy escort. He's well worth the money, and the sheets haven't even cooled before she's ready to call him again.

Such a sexy story and so delightfully told
Revisado: 02-21-16
Would you listen to Damaged Goods again? Why?
I loved listening to this story and really identified with it.
If you’ve listened to books by Lauren Gallagher before, how does this one compare?
This is my first book by Gallagher, but not my last!
What about Mary Rogers’s performance did you like?
I loved it, I felt in a way like I was hearing the story from myself.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Well, I would have loved to, if not for the distractions of everyday life!
Any additional comments?
One of the best of the genre I've listened to, very highly recommended.
