Good enough to listen to while at the gym
Revisado: 02-21-23
The story was ok, nothing original. The first book was actually better. I hoped to have Kate Bennett come back in this one. Disappointed she didn’t. Overall it’s an okay book.

Good ending, slow start and lots of repetition
Revisado: 02-11-23
The beginning is absolutely boring. The ending is great. Very slow to start, almost gave up on this after two hours. Then the real story began and got me going.

Historia
The Grand Hotel is a horror novel by esteemed best-selling author Scott Kenemore ( Zombie, Ohio) that takes the reader on a thrilling ride through an interconnected series of stories narrated by the desk clerk and the residents of the hotel itself. And while it is not known whether or not the desk clerk is actually the devil incarnate, it is strange that so many visitors who come for a tour of the hotel have a way of never leaving.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Good story overall, very engaging and emotional ending
Revisado: 01-12-23
The story caught and kept my attention for the whole length of the book. My favorite parts were the descriptions of the marsh and nature. Kya’s story was emotional and I sided with the character until the very end.
