Historia
'I love puzzles, and finding answers is the only truly enjoyable part of what I do.' This is because Professor Patricia Wiltshire is a forensic ecologist, her days spent at crime scenes collecting samples, standing over dead bodies in a mortuary, or looking down her microscope for evidence. Nature has given us a messy, imperfect world, but her job is to help make sense of it when we need it to most. A pioneer of forensic ecology - using the natural world to help solve crimes - Patricia has been involved in some of the most high-profile murder cases.

Incredibly interesting and beautifully read!

Beautifully read and so marvelously written, I could not stop listening. Such an interesting book, full of information but so gripping at the same time... I fear I won't do it justice in this review. If you're interested in forensic science, botany or just crime investigation in general, this is a MUST! Full of detail and yet so very easy to follow! Absolutely wonderful.

wonderful story, so very well read!

Loved Tim Curry's narration. The cat and the abhorsen sometimes share a voice and that confused me... othe than that 10/10. Very well-paced and wonderful.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Absolute 5/5 witty, moving, sincere. A masterpiece
Revisado: 11-20-22
earth and heart-shattering. So sincere and simple and just wholesome but very formative. a must-read. having it read by Jeanette herself is an absolute joy and makes it even more painfully real! 6/5 really. Absolutely loved it.
