Historia
Meet the galaxy's unluckiest outlaws. Carl Ramsey is an ex-Earth Navy fighter pilot turned con man. His ship, the Mobius, is home to a ragtag crew of misfits and refugees looking to score a big payday but more often just scratching to pay for fuel. The crew consists of his ex-wife (and pilot), a drunkard, four-handed mechanic, a xeno-predator with the disposition of a 120kg housecat, and the galaxy's most-wanted wizard.

Galaxy Outlaws is fantastic!
Revisado: 06-03-18
I picked this up because I am a fan of the narrator Mikael Naramore. So glad I did since I fell in love with this group of misfits and their crazy escapades. Also was really intrigued by the host of sentient species in this galaxy. Usually like hard science fiction but the existence of magic seemed to fit here. Highly recommend this compilation of all the Black Ocean Mobius Missions. Great bang for the buck.

Piecing it together is the only way to hold the Kroerak forces at bay until reinforcements arrive - if they arrive at all. Marny Bertrand has never left a crew member behind, and she’s not about to start now. When she discovers Liam is still alive, she'll put everything on the line and mount a reckless rescue mission. Great Audio version of Fury of the Bold
Revisado: 06-03-18
Fury of the Bold is action packed from start to finish and I loved every minute of it! Mikael Naramores' narration is excellent as always. Many surprises are in store for Liam and crew and all of the new characters. One of the things I love most is how invested I get in each character. Jamie McFarlane's writing is brilliant and I can't wait for the next audiobook to be released. Highly recommend this audiobook and the entire series to fans of space opera and military science fiction.

Next in Privateer Tales Series
Revisado: 01-29-18
The next audiobook in the Privateer Tales Series finds Liam and crew traveling to another galaxy and meeting alien species that are members of the Confederation of Planets. They end up trapped there and it seems like they will have to make a new life. The Kroerak are still a grave problem and humanity needs the help of Loose Nuts. There is a suspenseful sequence involving mechanized armor and a very surprising ending. Well worth the listen. As usual Mikael Naramore does an excellent job of narrating.

New Series in the Privateer Tales Universe
Revisado: 01-29-18
On a Pale Ship is the first audiobook of a new series set in Jamie McFarlane's Privateer Tales universe. This audiobook stands alone so it isn't necessary to listen to any others first but if you have heard other books in his universe you will be thrilled to both revisit a few well-loved friends and be introduced to new interesting characters. Luc Gray becomes the leader of a team of heroes and along with the brilliant scientist and business magnate Dorian Anino, Luc and his team will put everything on the line to defeat their superhuman adversaries. This is my first book with Kevin Clay as narrator and while it will take some getting used to, I think he did well. Highly recommend this audiobook if you like military sci-fi space opera.

Historia
Branded criminals and on the run from the most powerful corporation in the known universe, Liam Hoffen and the crew of Hotspur have a simple choice to make. They can either cower and hide on the long since abandoned planet Ophir, or continue their mission to set right the wrongs perpetrated by a company willing to trade human suffering and lives for their bottom line. If you've followed their story, you know which choice they'll make.

Revisado: 10-29-17
Give No Quarter is a great new installment in Jamie McFarlane Privateer Tales and continues the story of Jamie and Crew vs the Belirand Corporation. The crew have to make some tough decisions and always choose the honorable option but there are heartbreaking consequences. Narrator Mikhail Naramore is excellent.

Another great installment of Privateer Tales
Revisado: 10-07-17
Loved listening to book 9 of Privateer Tales. Mikael Naramore is an excellent narrator and has become the voice of Liam to me. If you haven't listened to the other books in this series I would recommend them. The split narrative in this story is a departure for the series but introduces an important parallel storyline. The crew's actions have crossed a line and now everything has changed. They really had no option but to follow their convictions. At any cost this crew always does the right thing! Looking forward to the next audiobook!

Historia
If Nick James is right, the Tipperary solar system is about to become the busiest trading hub in the galaxy. To sweeten the pot, the cloud-city of Lèger Nuage is offering free warehouse space to qualified traders. Of course, nothing's as simple as it seems. Just like Earth's Old West, the Tipperary system is as full of promise as it is Buccaneers who are happy to prey on the weak. No one expects it to be easy, but deceit, piracy, and murder kindle the pioneering spirit in each of them.

Privateers expand their horizons
Revisado: 08-30-17
In this story the Privateers expand their horizons and travel to the Tipperary solar system where new opportunities, friends and challenges await them. Mikael Naramore is an excellent narrator and Jamie McFarlane is one of my favorite authors so I recommend this audiobook. Listening to the previous stories in this series will be helpful to the understanding of the characters.

Further Adventures of Felix Slade
Revisado: 08-27-17
This is the 2nd book in the Witchy World series by Jamie McFarlane. Felix character grows a lot and more is revealed about him and his family. He is definitely a hero as he tries to help everyone he meets. I really enjoyed this Audio book. Lou Lambert is the perfect narrator for this series, just what I imagine Felix Slade sounds like. Highly recommend this series.

I was really glad to get a follow up story about Celine Dontal and her path forward after being rescued from slavery by Liam and crew in book one. Really interesting following her in the quest to find her sister and meeting Talia and her mom. This is the 2nd book in a great series and while it doesn't have the series main characters in this story, it is very important development for the stories to come. Very much worth a listen. I enjoyed Laurel Schroeder's narration as well.

Great Audio version of Smuggler's Dilemma
Revisado: 02-25-17
Loved the Audible version of Smuggler's Dilemma. I have read the Kindle edition of all the Privateer Tales books and now I am enjoying revisiting these stories thru Audible. I had forgotten how much happened in this book! Jamie McFarlane packs a lot of action into this story. Particularly loved the descriptions of the mechanized suits. I think Liam did alot of growing up in this book. I find myself much more sympathetic to Tabby this time around too. Mikael Naramore is a really good narrator. I can easily recognize each characters voice. Can't wait for the next audible installment in this series!
