Marie Rose's performance was absolutely terrific.

This book entails a bit of mystery, lots of humor, great character personality and development. It is a light story with reality twists that most women can relate too in one way or another. The narrator did a superb job with character voices and it just added additional personality touch, which I very much appreciated because it kept the story and the characters interesting.

I love most Glenn Harrold's books, and this one is not exception. Very relaxing and soothing self hypnosis technique.

Absolute Agony

What disappointed you about Desire Untamed?

If you are looking for an erotica or steamy romance novel, this is not it. This book emphasis is based on sadistic physical, mental, and sexual abuse of an innocent woman who is emotionally and physically tormented, and then is manipulated by her husband, who has her put in a psychiatric ward. The character – Clair - becomes so mentally unstable that she adapts to the torment, and marries a psychopath. The book is extremely long, and very detailed about husband’s emotional and physical torment of Clair. Any woman who has respect for herself and believes in equal relationship would have a challenging time reading this book. Based on other readers’ review, I was anticipating that the end of the story would be a happy one; instead it is a very bleak and sad ending. Clair who is innocent, naïve fool ends up in a psychiatric ward because her sadistic husband puts her there. Throughout the story you feel initially sad for the woman, then angry because she complies with abuse, while pushing her loved ones away. This is not a book of S&M, dominance, or sex taboo; it is a book of just sadistic behavior toward a woman, turning a young independent woman into dependent, frightened, and tormented being.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Definitely not this series, I need to read some J.D. Robb

These days we need stories that inspire a positive and equal romantic relationship, and not one of torment and abuse, there just too much of that already in the real world.

PG13 - Lacked Passion

Would you try another book from Jennifer Ashley and/or Angela Dawe?

I am not sure, this book had a very good story but very little romance, not much passion, which is very strange for a romance novel. I expected more passion, desire, and intrigue and unfortunately all of these factors that make a great romance novel were missing.

Great dark fantasy

Where does Asking for Trouble rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I give this book a four star because the content was good, the author pushed the envelope with this one by including dark sexy content that not everyone can handle. Objectively speaking, it is a book for those who understand the difference between fantasy and reality and appreciate the dark side to lust, obsession, and possession.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Ilya, he was always one step ahead of Beth and he was perfectly described as both the bad, sexy, and ruthless yet with a bit of compassion for Beth.

What does Saskia Reeves bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator seemed a bit too proper for this dirty story lol, it was kind of funny to listen to her describe sex scenes...but she was good and later I just focused on the story,which I found very intriguing.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

At the end of the story I wondered if Ilya cared at all for Beth or was he just using her the entire time. I'm glad that at end, the reader finds out that Ilya cared enough to make sure not to involve Beth further.

Any additional comments?

I recommend this book to those who appreciate the dark part of sex fantasy novel because this is a book that is explicit and often time not a good way lol. Nonetheless, a good story.

Great source of valuable information

Where does Zero Limits rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This self-help book's advice is not only applicable in life but also a great source of valuable information. Most self-help books are perfect theoretical assumptions that sound great on paper but cannot be applied to real life situations. Zero limits not only educational and informative but also it works because I am using the techniques suggested and I'm getting amazing results.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Zero Limits?

Zero limits is easy to comprehend, the story line is inspiring, and techniques suggested are easy to do.

Which character – as performed by Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len – was your favorite?

I enjoyed the performance of all the charecters in this book, my opinion is subjective because I enjoy reading and listening to Joe Vitale's books...so most favorite character would be Joe.

What did you learn from Zero Limits that you would use in your daily life?

I learned that I need to accept responsibility for everything that comes into my life. I can heal myself, others,and improve my current reality by saying in my head four magic words. By the way I have tried this technique and it works. I am a phd psychology student and as a social scientist I was initially skeptical, but after using techniques suggested in the book,I noticed my relationships with others have improved, one of my pet's was feeling sick and in four days was feeling fine, I received an offer that was initially impossible to get. In other words, my perception completely changed and so did my reality, I am a believer!!!

I want to thank Joe Vitale's team for suggesting to me to listen to this book. I greatly appreciate the wisdom that was shared because it was a true awakening for me.
