Just not good. Listen to the negative reviews. Also take notice the main character in the last book in the series, and the main character in subsequent books in the series. I like books with a happy ending.

the story was fair, but the narrator should find other work. The guy can't do a french accent, and shouldn't try. I can't believe that anyone thought this was good enough to release. Someone really dropped the ball on this one.

This book reads like every other chapter is missing. The author needs an editor, or to be on some sort of medication, or both. Very hard to follow, very confusing. Nothing is explained, it's like the book starts somewhere near where the middle should be and then jumps around like a bad acid trip until the end. Has the potential of being a good book, it just wasn't finished when it was published. It could be a good rough draft, though.

Would you try another book from Lev Grossman and/or Jeff Harding?
This book was long and tedious. I kept expecting that it would get better, but in the end you are left confused and very unsatisfied. This book was a total waste of time and money.
